Second encounters.

I patched pitched drum voice 1 out into pitched drum voice 2 trigger input,
Pitched drum voice 2 out into pitch drum voice 3 trigger input,
then the main out into Malekko Diabolik and 616 II LOFI delay.

Then I powered it up and it sounded like this:

Then I made a drone:

The noise source makes me smile!!

Then I patched a Blacet Binary Zone into a mult and into each pitched drum voice Pitch CV input:

Then another two with the Gate out of the Binary Zone into the Output Mute CV input of the D2000.
Click Here for gated sequence 1.
Click Here for gated sequence 2

I'll try this again later with a different CV generator later this week/month/sometime/whenever...

I have a lot of really loud and fun D-2000 tracks recorded. Here's a calmer one that shows off some of its more subtle character. Eric made a real masterpiece with this instrument. With a little attenuation you have a D-1000 tone right in there, and then unattenuate to blast off, if needed. Here's some metasonix soft rock:

D-1000 no, D-2000 absolutely. It works better and is quieter than the 1000 anyway.

I did a feature on Metasonix this week on Boing Boing, including a lot of D-2000 examples.
