Super nice space behndy,

Do you use Squarp Pyramid to sequence chords on 4Vox?

I ask, but don't even sure if it's possible :hmm:

It's possible. :) Pyramid is a 16 track polyphonic sequencer. Powerful specs.

I dont want to hijack the thread, but you mean you can just plug a midi cable into 4vox module, sequence a 4 notes chords from Squarp Pyramid and voilà? :)

Yes, as long as the 4vox is set to MIDI VCO P on the "VCO-channel" you wanna play chords on (4vox = 4 channels). You can do this on every channel of the 4vox, making it a 4 x polysynth if you want. The channels are set to receive on MIDI channels 1-4. Dunno if this can be changed, haven't tried.

thank you suh! it is a HUGE upgrade from how messy and cramped my yarea was previously.

that is totes something i'm going to work on! the Squarpamid and a lot of the euro stuff is super new to me, still learning my way around.

so far only used a Beatstep Pro with the 4Vox. jussssst got the Squarpy in.

A little selection of modules from my main set up totally oriented ambient/experimental (no kicks and envelopes).

Ears + reflex pairs very well to make loops of strange sounds.
VCO-6 are used to make drones. RES-4 that are just an amazing module to make pings and great to modulate with VCO-6.
Turing is here to make slow melodies/gates (on res-4 or vcfq).
Clouds is here for textures and strange sounds, Batumi for modulations, Matrix Mixer to matrix mixing ^^, and VCAs (not enough...) and some utilities.

Hi all, my first post here after a lot of lurking around getting great advice and learning a lot. Here is now my modular setup i will use to get into this wonderful world of sound and music and to combine with my existing Elektron A4 and Rytm and MD (and some more stuff :-)

I have some ideas how to expand it but I think this will take me a long way forward. Built the rack case myself and it should fit nicely into a bookshelf from IKEA actually to help the layout of the studio.

Would love your comments!

Actually looking for tips what else to put in there. I have a disting mk4 and a optomix rev2 on the way, but I still have space for some other stuff - was thinking some attenuators/VCA's/LFO's but I'm not sure if I need something else more.. Like some effects more than the Clouds. Any input is greatly appreciated.

My rack right before I put all modules in my "new" elite 6U case:

Apart from that it's just a mixer + outboard reverb and delay + audio interface.
