Just relocated house, haven't got much beyond patching my permanent/semi-permanent cables into the rack. I've finally got enough space to try integrating the rack with Ableton a little.

With some help from some friends here on MW I went from a two racks of misc modules and one Stillson Hammer mkii to something quite different. Investigation of Harvestman / IME modules took me down a rabbit hole...weeeee!

Yes, oops! Thankfully it was mostly funded by selling other modules...but my wallet still felt it. :sstorm:

My modest, nice rack in progress. Just tinkering and wondering where I will end up. Power, outputs, and some utils to go with the Moog that I have been having a lot of fun with. I'm happy with the case 104hp x 6U, and I just happened to have enough 18mm Baltic birch scrap for the case.

]...em, bad at math...

It was actually nine racks to ten, but I was just counting the cases before when I said I had 2 racks.
This is the before pic...

Looks nice! I began with the Mother 32 also. The guy I bought it from had a nice eurorack setup. I was doomed from the start.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think the best thing about Eurorack is there are too many modules to choose from. I have some N+1 issues, so this is perfect.

Remorseless modular beat; a bit discordant but melodic too. 🦊🦂

Sup yall, been a while. Still the same old modules, but I finally unified the system into one rack, by joining up my z-rails and converting the desktop rack to doublewide:

what is that tape machine module in the top left?!?!?
:hail: :hail: :hail:
A cv tape player. Very few were made, and it doesn't work as well as I expected sadly. But it prevents me from having to bring my Walkman around when I want to process tapes with the rack.

I recently finished building this carry case for my whole setup, w/ locking lid & spring-loaded handle
1U module above each elektron box for power switch and also access all ins/outs, midi, usb, ect. on 1/8" jacks.
1U module trs 1/8" jacks to 1/4" jacks on rear of case act as passthru inputs/outputs to patch panel.
One master power switch & fuse bank on back. Case lid doubles as storage.

I got alot of ideas looking at other diy cases on this site and wanted to share this, thanks muffwigglers.

Slowly getting to grips of my new groovebox after selling off all my elektrons and going full modular.
The nerdseq is probably my fave sequencer yet.

Yeah the room has alot of character for sure. Its an old water filtration building in an old distillery complex. Its basically in a tiled pit im my art studio but is works great for jamming and practicing with dancers ad performers. I do mixing an another room.
That's cool. I was wondering what it was.
Certainly looks like an interesting space.
