Almost filled up! Gonna replace the Doepfer Synthi filter with an Addac Triple Bandpass once they're restocked.

Curious if you know from modular grid or something, how much current are you estimating is being used by the 9u cases? I keep putting different systems together on modular grid, and they push 1700-1900mA, but it says it provides 2a. Going by the 80plus thing from the PC world, just was curious if you had any issues with power with these. If I knew it could do 2.5a, I would buy the case without a second thought
Re: Post pics of your euro setup! - RESIZE YOUR PHOTOS PLEASE
My cases permit a maximum of 1200 mA each.

Totally reorganized my 7u and Palette:

Wanted to focus on how the Mannequins modules worked together in the Palette, especially AM/FM between Mangrove and Just Friends. Using a Keystep to control it but will play with JF into Disting for sequencing.
7u is mostly focused on a complete techno system. First jam on it was awesome and immediate.
I've got a couple of FX Aids on order to fill in some 4hp spaces on each but no telling when they'll get here.

Just rearranged so the 6u case would be (almost) all black. I'm considering staining the wood panel of the Quattro Figaro.

woah, thats mental setup with mescaline

Re: Post pics of your euro setup! - RESIZE YOUR PHOTOS PLEASE
A rare moment between chaos. Still trying to find a comfy way to put these cases together. Gonna try this for a while.

Nice

I've just ordered one of them 6U Rackbrute cases... Not bad value for money considering the brand and the style of case.
Re: Post pics of your euro setup! - RESIZE YOUR PHOTOS PLEASE
Obviously I like them enough to keep buying them. I'll probably end up getting a fourth if I can find one at a reasonable price, if just for the symmetry.synkrotron wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 4:05 amNice

That's good to hear

Build quality good then?
I spent a couple of hours looking around the interwebs on Tuesday... So much to choose from. But I only really wanted another 80 or so HP but the 6U Rackbrute was only another £40 more than the 6U so I went for that. Cost me just under £280.
I nearly went for a Doepfer LC6 but that was only a tenner cheaper.
Is that a Roland STUDIO-CAPTURE? How do you find that with your modular?
I use two linked OCTA-CAPTURE units so I get a similar amount of inputs. Not the best latency but I seem to manage. I made a DIY attenuator box to get down to a reasonable level.
Anyway, best get on with stuff

Re: Post pics of your euro setup! - RESIZE YOUR PHOTOS PLEASE
As far as I'm qualified to judge build quality, it seems OK. The only odd thing is that they're supposedly 88Hp (without the power module) but there's actually space for 89Hp. Not all the rails go right to the end though, so some modules don't want to go at the edge. It also means it's an odd Hp. Also, I've propped the stand up so the top unit is vertical but that makes some of the jacks difficult to patch. Ideally the bottom unit would slope up but the stand won't stay in that position. And the link system juts out quite a bit, so when I have them side by side (as I plan to) there'll be a sizable gap between them, which isn't ideal.
Yes I got it to replace my Octa-Capture because I was happy with that but wanted more inputs. I could have got a second Octa-Capture I guess, but anyway... It seems to give me fewer glitches in Cubase than the Octa-Capture did. The inputs seem to cope with anything I send them directly from the modular. Latency isn't an issue for me because I only use the modular and record everything at once in one take.Is that a Roland STUDIO-CAPTURE? How do you find that with your modular?

Hey guyZ!
Here’s my setup!
I had originally began a while ago with a completed ‘happy ending’ consisting of Braids, Maths, intel. mult, Ripples, Rosie & the older Nebulae model. Now it’s Braids, Clouds, Tides V2, intel. mult, Veils, Ripples & Rosie (Left to Right with my ’Befaco Kickall’ being assembled atm). Just coped a black happy ending too, minus the power supply, eager to fill it up!
