Rough fitting the new 48 channel mixer was today.
Not finished yet. Moving a bunch of mixers out to make more room for more modules!!!!
can this be used as a controller for voltages also? that would be amazing..

Easy boy: not sure yet, but I have high hopes
Silent notes: Dark Matter is fantastic! I generally like things noisy and distorted and it fits perfectly for that, but that’s probably why many people would avoid it.

This case is perfect then, cuz each row is 69hp.

My Hermod finally got here today. Unfortunately something had come loose from the board in transit so it's DOA. I had to commemorate its short life with what would've been its loving family. Fingers crossed for the next one.

Here's the current iteration of my rig. I've actually downsized a lot recently. I realised that the dream of producing complete, complex, interesting pieces entirely in the modular was just that... a dream. That quest had led to my system becoming large, bloated, overwhelming and completely unportable.

I also had a sudden revelation. It didn't actually feel good to have so much modular gear.
:sstorm:

Even now, after the removal of Tete+Tetrapad, Instruo CS-L, Verbos CO, Mimeophon, Morphagene, Intellijel Planar, STO, Basimilus Iteritas Alter and a bunch of other modules I still think it's too large but I'm struggling to reduce it any further. I'd like to get down to just the 12U case, which is not easy because those R*S modules, which are going nowhere, are not exactly small.

There's just one module I have my eye on, that I will somehow need to ditch something to make room for, and that's the forthcoming Xaoc Sarajewo. A proper BBD delay seems appropriate for a system that's overwhelmingly analogue.

Obviously the system is based around the R*S Serge core. Apart from the Mangrove and Generate 3 everything else is really just supporting the Serge centre.

(A confession: I've not yet been able to bring myself to put the Verbos CO up for sale. This could get awkward.)

NICE.

i love the Dark Matter... in theory? it's just so hard to get reliable action times. at least for me. 1 out of 10 times it's amazing, but those other 9... boof.

It's finished (for now). No space left, no money left either . . .

Better photos, taken in the morning rather than the evening . . .

Did you buy this recently? If so, I think I just saw this on Reverb or eBay a few days ago.

No - bought the IGM a while back, was absolutely staggered, ordered the full system from Pete a while back (not too long tbf) and until it arrived have been assembling the rest of the case!

I find that I'm more creative with limitations, so I split my 18U into three smaller systems. This is the latest configuration of one of them

Here is my setup. I should have listened and bought a bigger case.
