Agreed :hihi:

Would you mind listing the modules you have in your rack there?

Pretty tame modular setup compared to some here.
It’s very aesthetically pleasing.
You can read all the names on the frontpanels. The two big modules and the midi module to the left come from Intellijel, the rest is all Mutable instruments.
The modules where the names are partially covered by the blue cable are Blinds, Tides and Plaits.

It's not my rack but just from a glance, it looks like...

Top Row: Intellijel uMidi, Intellijel Metropolis, MI Veils, MI Links, MI Stages, MI Tides, MI Blades, ALM HPO
Bottom Row: Intellijel Atlantis, MI Blinds, MI Kinks, MI Tides, MI Plaits, MI Warps, MI Streams

You could easily build a rack on ModularGrid.net and make sure it works out to the right HP.

There's also an Intellijel uMidi on the top left and an ALM019 - HPO (headphone output) on the top right.

Intellijel and Mutable modules look so visually pleasing and complementary next to each other.

Honestly, it looks tidy, fun and usable. Size isn't everything. The Metropolis and Atlantis are lots of fun too. It's not a mean-looking rack at all, more well-considered. Stinks of potential.

Also, it has a surprisingly calm aesthetic- which shouldn't matter, but makes it look less like a half-built death star than my rack.

Really fun afternoon with a simple patch modulating things through Warps (Twist version) and Lester so thought to take a pic. I need to maybe add a mini rack off to the side for the Vectr so its isn't bothered by cables dangling down though.

That looks very slick! Shoudl not be too hard to get a metal nut for the quarter inch jack, right?
I wish you were right, but it's a strange plastic twist-lock thread. I could probably desolder and replace the entire jack though.

Are they Eve SC-207s?

I have a pair of those hooked up to my CDJ-2000NXS2s and they sound amazing! Also have a pair of Adam T7Vs - excellent.

How do you find the SC207s?

Upgraded and rearranged the space ship command center a bit. I'm really close to getting the ergonomics tuned in to my workflow. Featuring the awesome led lamp recommended on the previous page.

Yup, they are!

Love them as well. They have massive low-end for being relatively small. Might even be a bit overhyped, but they are a joy to listen or jam on. My room is not yet sufficiently treated for critical monitoring, so that's not a huge concern at the moment and I believe they can serve for critical mixing as well. I use a variety of other speakers and headphones as well to monitor, and the sound seems to translate quite well. Great speakers.

Was/am hoping to check out the 3- or 408s somewhere down the line.
Don't believe the hype.

Update! I finally got my rack to match my ModularGrid plan. SSF RND STEP was the last piece of the puzzle

(except for the unreleased Noise Engineering Virt Iter, digital platform stereo OSC. Still waiting ☹️)

This is it - have the MTX expander on the way for the E-350 - then done - a lifetime worth of exploration in these boxes.

Delicious!

I get nowhere near cranking my 207s but there's pleeenty of headroom in them!

3/408s ...... Jeebus! That's getting pretty serious, and I'd love me a pair, but they're just far too big for my room so I wouldn't be able to do them justice.

Enjoy!

Finally bit the bullet and bought a 12U Doepfer Monster Case.. but then quickly realized 1 wasn’t enough and bought a second before perfect circuit ran out of stock. And I still have about 100HP of modules (including my CR) in another box while I wait for the 2 monster bases I ordered along with 2 WMD performance mixers. I think I’m pretty much done after that but then again I’ve said that before

Oh and I need to get another A 197-3 light module for my other case. And apparently some super glue for the light strip on the left. It does not want to stay put!

Whoa! Cool.

What is the black thing to the left of the Erica sequencer? Looks like a blow torch.

Wow, impressive setup!

I like how you separated the black and silver modules ... One monster case for each.

I go for the checkered esthetic with my much, much smaller system

Yeah before I got the monster cases I had everything kinda checkered also. Either way can look good. And obviously functionality is most important. I’m sure I’ll end up mixing them up much more as I finish filling up the bases and get my layout more dialed in. But for now I dig it. And thank you sir, much appreciated.
