^ this is not the thread for rack advice, and please post pictures, not modular grid images. That defeats the purpose of the thread.

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!
My modular journey started digitally with my beloved North Modular G2X some 15 years ago, but when the Eurorack scene grew and more and more nice modules arrived I took the leap and oh boy never regretted it (well, sometimes when looking at the bank account
). The hands on experience is just something else. I bought the Minibrute 2s and the Rackbrute and soon after the Erica Synth Pico System III. Then inevitably a lot of modules were bought (and sold) and this is my setup atm. Newest project is a budget comparison between Behringer (System 100) and Dreadbox as they are similar priced but totally different. I am pretty sure I will keep them all

It looks really great. And I think sounds even better! Anything but tame. Two thumbs up!

Oops. If superglue doesn't work, try the blowtorch!Mad_Rasputin wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 10:51 pmWell thank you. And you were half right lol. No Erica sequencer but that is definitely a blow torch lol.DCDanno wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 11:03 amWhoa! Cool.Mad_Rasputin wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:07 am49AA409E-2839-4AB9-A3BC-5B8D21112A96.jpeg
Finally bit the bullet and bought a 12U Doepfer Monster Case.. but then quickly realized 1 wasn’t enough and bought a second before perfect circuit ran out of stock. And I still have about 100HP of modules (including my CR) in another box while I wait for the 2 monster bases I ordered along with 2 WMD performance mixers. I think I’m pretty much done after that but then again I’ve said that before
Oh and I need to get another A 197-3 light module for my other case. And apparently some super glue for the light strip on the left. It does not want to stay put!
What is the black thing to the left of the Erica sequencer? Looks like a blow torch.

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!
First post, but I’ve gathered a ton of advice from MW for the past year, thanks everyone!
I’m considering buying a second Intellijel case to fit my Five12 sequencer and some controllers (a joystick, surface...).

I like the futuristic look and the certain order. Intellijel and Mutable Instruments seem to go well together.

@SquidIInk, I remember seeing that case years ago when it was first announced but I can't remember the name of the company or if they ever did anything else.SquidInSquidInk wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 5:41 pmI've been away from the forums for awhile. Scaled back my modular to a single case, still mostly older stuff. Anything that rarely gets touched gets tossed.

Added a 6U 50hp case to my studio. I was gonna buy a Prophet rev2 but then realized I’d have more fun with a second eurorack case instead haha. I’m gonna add a bunch of IME modules to it to complement my main case.
Analog Rytm MkII
Virus TI2
Digitone (solely for midi sequencing the Virus)
Eventide H9 for send/return duties
I’m having a blast

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!
It was a Chinese company called Modular World and in retrospect might have been just one dude?
I never got those momentary buttons to work and the rail threads are kinda janky, but the power supply and case have had no issues this past decade, the extra mults and attenuators are great, and I don't think anyone's ever made a case that inexpensive since.

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!
Pretty psyched to have finished my case for my cases:
Moog 4 tier, Pittsburgh EP420, Make Noise Shared System, and 3 Skiffs. Crazy how much the proper configuration increases your productivity.

Here’s where I am - I try as much and possible to avoid overdubs. The only other sound source - sometimes - is Omnisphere, sequenced from the NerdSeq. Mixing and FX is done itb.

So clean! A case for cases is a good idea. Congrats.guitargyro wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 1:06 amPretty psyched to have finished my case for my cases:

Love the look of this setup; just the right size.

This is my first eurorack system.
Re: Post pics of your euro setup!
Thanks. Yes, as Antlerface says it’s the OctoController. One of the first modules I got, it’s incredibly useful.fruitsnake wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 6:03 pmLove the look of this setup; just the right size. What's that module in the middle row on the far left? The font is too fancy to read.

Thanks! Figure I saved myself well over a grand $$$ if I had tried finding something big enough to hold everything.
Once I realized the Moog 4 tier and the Pittsburgh EP420 were exactly the same height the wheels started turning. I already had 3 Skiffs floating around.
I probably would have bought another EP420 and put almost everything in that. But then I started thinking it would be kind of lame to split up the Shared System. Also, these things are pretty wide. So patching from one to another would take some pretty long cables.
Best go go vertical! Now I just need a taller desk chair...

Re: Post pics of your euro setup!
Hardly one year into modular... it all started with a neutron which by now had to leave the case again and is back in it's original habitat.
