does anyone ordered from Canada????

I purchased a module from ladik 1 month ago, haven't got it yet, and the tracking never showed any activity in a month!!!!!

....it is my 1st order from them, I emailed and asked about it but only got the tracking number.

I know they are legit but I am sick of waiting having paid 1 month ago. Packages comes faster from China.
I just recently ordered the speaker from him. I got it in about 2 weeks to Ontario. He also included a small patch cable rack and one short patch cable very nice of him. It's probably lost in the mail...hope things work out for you.

well I got my refund thru paypal, but I cannot order another one, CANADA is not available as country in the shipping form, so I cannot enter my address.
RIdiculous. I do need a slew in 4HP!

Would be interested to hear about experiences with the O-110 and O-210 oscillators. Considering getting one of each to form my basic synth voice.
I have the O 210, alongside many other Ladiks.

It’s a very nice standard osc IMO. Not flashy, but stable and reliable. Very nice triangle and PWM, nicely set up with plenty of control. No sine wave. I think the 110 has that covered though.
Have you played around with the Lin FM? There are a only a couple of demos on Youtube.
Not enough to make a sensible recommendation, or to analyse the stuff you're probably wanting to know, such as stability of base pitch etc. I have used it to make some nasty ass siren sounds though.....

I've ordered from Canada before, numerous times with Ladik. never had a single problem.

Anyone got the R-120 Random CV?

I’m trying to figure out this top jumper:
Jumper settings:
top jumper allows generation of repeating CV for consecutive trigs (jumper set) or forces output to generate different CVs for each trig (if spread is wide enough, jumper removed)
Umm, what does that mean? When the top jumper is on, how does it advance to a new random CV?

With the jumper one way the output is always going to change with a trigger - with the jumper the other there's a small (1 in 7?) chance that it'll stay the same when it receives a trigger.

When you roll a dice you can get the same number twice - this disables the rolling of the same number ;)

Ok thanks, that makes sense. So another way to describe the top jumper is “allows duplicate values” and when removed it “prevents a duplicate value”, on the next trigger. The key phrase in the description is allows generation of repeating CV for consecutive trigs, which might also be phrased as permits...

Well there's a pull down for region and otherwise you type the country you're located in "State/Country/Province".

Anyone have experience of the A-530 dual pre-amp? I have a Lyra-8 and an SH-101 that I'd like to have permanently wired into the modular and it looks like just the ticket.

Get the A-520 instead. You'll never need the volume knobs inline if you've got that control elsewhere. I don't know if you have plans to bring in more inputs...

Not to steer you away from Ladik (I'm a big fan), but your two alternatives (in even less HP) are that new Bubblesound Booster (no experience there but has 4x inputs), and the Animodule Line_amp (which has only two inputs but with two outputs each, and is switchable to act like a buffered mult instead of an amplifier).

as far as I can tell, CANADA is not listed as a country, and I cannot proceed with the purchase without selecting a country from the list....

unless I choose the wrong country... with wrong shipping charges... witch is not encouraging since the last package did not make it....

my point here is that he removed CANADA as a destination, from his shopping cart form. If there is a way to order (I asked by email, ladik did not respond) I would like to know.

it is not my fault that his package got lost, he should ship insured anyway... that stuff happens and I don't bear responsibility, I wanted a module, I paid, I want more modules, what is wrong here? I think it is rude to stop communicating.

anyway.... if anyone want to sell me a C011 or C012 that would be great :)

The website says the shop is closed until 12 March so i would guess Mr Ladik has other things going on at the moment. He might be ill or on vacation or whatever. I am sure it will all be sorted in a few weeks.

Wow. Nothing else quite like that in euro?
Love that he is still creating amazing modules with such a huge catalog already.

Love the sub Oct demo, would love CV control over balance, tone and wave. Is there expansion pins on the board?
I'm looking for nothing at this moment in time

The O-410 sub-OSC looks cool!

Here’s the link:

I also like how he uses the Drum Girl and Drum Boy as a really quick way to dial-up gate sequences. Maybe all one needs is to add S-090 Dual Skipper to create variation from Drum Girl, I’d like to try that:

Hi Ladikvolk, recently there was some discussion in the euro forum about choices for a drum-machine-like sequencer. I posted a reply there, but I thought I’d share it here. My reply favours a Ladik solution, of course:
it depends what you mean when you want something like a drum machine, but here’s an interesting thought:

Ladik Drum Girl D-420 - pattern generator
http://ladik.ladik.eu/?page_id=2587

Ladik Dual Skipper S-090 - gate variations
http://ladik.ladik.eu/?page_id=1649

Ladik Drum Boy D-430 - optional, if you need 3 drum voices
http://ladik.ladik.eu/?page_id=2591

Advantages:

Small (8U or 12U)
Low cost
Three channels = 3x Gates
Very fast to get a pattern, just turn a knob
Lots of patterns in different time sigs and lengths
Pair with Drum Boy to get a choice of drum voices
Live variations if you combine with Dual Skipper
Part of the amazing Ladik system to build upon

Disadvantages:

Can’t program a pattern, you choose one
A small amount of button pushing but mostly knob turning
Gate outputs only, not CV, but other modules can provide
You’ll need a clock source! Who doesn’t eh

I like this idea, I have the 430, will add the 420 and the 90.
Has anyone got the Drum Girl and the Dual Skipper? Do they make a good combo for quickly making interesting Gate sequences? Would like to know...
