I am looking for Quad VCF VCA to complete my existing row with DO, WCRS and Quad Function but it is nowhere available in Europe. My german dealer don't stock it anymore. Anybody knows why there is no stock anymore? I need this module. Just a little bit confusing.

Noticed that too. Schneiders seems to be dropping them from their shop. Anyone know whats up with that?

Any updates on all the new Sputnik modules? I have lots of space reserved for them!

Only thing I know is that Roman is working on his CS-80 clone:

So new eurorack modules will be off for a while I guess.

Jeeze, it's easy to hear that, and it doesn't sound attractive at all.
But the sound you are putting into it is harsh, does it react the same with smoother sounds?

Effects such as reverb and delay belong to pedals.

Modular effects have different applications and utility from pedal effects. If you prefer set-and-forget controls and "normal" use cases, then sure, just use pedals.

It's like that no matter what you inject into it, but that shouldn't discourage you. It's an awesome, weird, flexible delay. It can do some crazy shit.

1st 1/2 of this is 4 tap delay:

Yes, I am a bit confused aswell. I would at least like to go for a Dual Oscillator eventually.

Yeah, forgive my new-ness but I am not familiar with the company - the Dual Envelope & Gate is on their website and would be perfect for my system, but no one sells it.

Was it discontinued? Never released? I'm sensing a lot of vaguery around the company which makes me hesitate a bit on purchases.

AFAIK, it was never released.

Sputnik eurorack seems to be dead.

Very weird... I have some Sputnik stuff and would love some more of it...
Maybe Deckard's Dream -the CS-80-clone- got in the way of developing the eurorack line further?

This was only in January of this year:

Anyone tried contacting Sputnik support? I've encountered a problem with West Coast Random Source (quantized random voltages stopped working), tried to contact them on their site, got no responce at all. Is it dead?

I hope they continue the eurorack stuff and bring us more Buchla Clones for eurorack.

You should check sputniks selector if you haven't, its a fantastic little device. I've only used it to use different clock speeds but I can see, if one has a multitude of sequencers it can be powerful realtime tool for composing and arranging.

It is great, I use it every time I use the 5 step Sputnik.

There is ONE Flaw in my book and that is it does not work in reverse. It was designed to work in one direction.

The INputs go to the Outputs only, Unlike some other Sequential Switches that work in both directions. For that reason alone I can not get another one. The next switch will be from Other companies that do work in a more flexible way.

Aside from that I love it. It works and has lots of features that are good.

It seems obvious Deckard's Dream has his attention right now. I hope he continues with Eurorack too because his stuff is so great. It was only mid/late last year that he seemed to re-commit and address concerns via hiring a support staffer.

They were not at Superbooth. Deckards Dream seems to have all of Romans attention.
