Thanks, that was brillant!

I love this module, too and maybe have a second on the way soon.

Thanks! If I had one regret about that piece, it was that pulling the power cable out to stop the patch didn't glitch.... when I was wiggling through I though "man it might make a cool sound if I yank this power supply" but it didn't do anything.... :hmm:

I removed the third Radio, but I really like having two Radios in my case. I've even used the Answering Machine samples as noise sources for Hi-Hat type sounds. So much fun!

Can't remember if it is the "stock" bank or was special from Magpie, but I have a bunch of typewriter sounds- these are great to feed into Rings.

Round 4 - 300+ raw headerless *.WAV files organized in 16 folders for use with Radio Music.
A little different from the previous collections, this one does not contain any spoken word.
Still weird but this one focuses more on Musical Notes, Percussion, Pads and FX (short samples).
Atmospheric Sounds, Unusual Textures, Strange Techno FX, Bizarre VOX, ARP's, Weird Instruments & Glitches.
PDF cheat sheet included.

Your uploads are amazing! I've had a patch going with Weird2 running through Rings and Clouds and it's great. I love the "How to speak Hip", evangelists, and UFO documentaries. So must weird to mess with! Can't wait to delve into part IV

Unknown... That always seems to be a grey area. :hmm:
The samples I use are harvested from;
YouTube videos, free *.WAV demo sample packs, TV broadcasts, excerpts from songs by old bands I was in, archive.org audio sample packs and random *.WAV files found on the web.

Haha. I did make a small card for doing a show for my fiance about a year ago. I only went through maybe five films (Mitchell, Space Mutiny, Werewolf, Laserblast, Time Chasers) but I could do more. ;)

I don't think I've posted this before but, thought I'd share one of my earlier attempts at using just my two Radio Music modules (both Magpie Modular customs) to make something musical. The samples are completely original, created and performed by me and then chopped and looped for use in RM.

I love these modules, and try to use them in just about every piece I do...

Great stuff. Thank you for all of these. The shouting evangelists from the earlier collection are great.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, I really appreciate it!

The Radio Music modules are great for someone like me with a smaller setup (I'm stuck at 6U until I can afford a 12U case) who is trying to get as much sound out as I can from a small system... especially for the type of "cinematic ambient" stuff that I do. Here's one more demo using my own samples, and thanks again!

long story short, a small mistake ended up with a teensy full of solder bridges. now the teensy doesn't work and overheats when plugged to the computer or bus, it means its fried right? :despair:

Get rid of the solder bridges first. Completely. Double-triple check. Then try it.

You might be lucky. Or maybe not. Good thing they aren't $$$$.

thanks.
last night I checked everything again and tried to clean it more but I can't even be sure that I still have bridges because I had to put those pins back in place and they look such a mess... someone from thonk answered me and he is pretty sure that I destroyed it when I plugged with some bridge.

Oh well, it's only a $25 part.

Now you have learned.
