In Europe, Escape From Noise is great! Super-fast, polite, knowledgeable, correct. So, another vote for Ulf! I won't mention some of the other, less-than-satisfactory experiences I've had with other stores even though thousands of Euro's were involved... :despair:

So: EFN for me! :tu:

Edit: Also lightning-fast shipping on two counts by MidiAmsterdam!

Hi
anyone ever ordered from AnalogueZone.com, especially with international shipping? I was thinking to order something from them, shipping to UK but I just never heard of them before

Having exorcised my DIY-only affectation, I've been trying to spread the love around some of the UK vendors recently. Nothing but good things to say about Matttech (big love to MCR, btw), Cymru, Signalsounds, Juno and Rubadub.

A bit late now but around November/December 2016 I bought Eurorack goods from

From outside UK
Thomann.de
Ladik
Musicstore.de
Schneidersladen

Smooth experience with all four, all went good.
Had Ladik modules in beautiful red, no problem

From UK
Signalsounds
DV247 (owned by Musicstore.de)
AbsoluteMusic
Analogue Solutions
Rubadab
LondonModular
JunoRecords
PostModular
CymruBeats

Smooth experience with all the above UK shops.

Recently ordered an item from ControlVoltage shipped to UK, all good here too.

The MW shop in Portland (USA) shut down a while ago. The space is now occupied by Modular Eight, *super* nice guys (they even entertained my wife while my son and I geeked out :P ); I dropped in when I was in Portland on holiday.

Tell us more about this wife-entertaining, sounds like a lucrative skill for a modular shop to possess.

Rackneck - Eurorack Cases

Post by RackNeck » Mon Jul 10, 2017 9:23 am

Hey Guys!

I proudly present my official start of www.rackneck.com

I am a furniture Carpenter from Berlin and after my Brother from sugar-bytes wanted a Eurorack Case for his Module Prototypes. So i startet to research about Euroracks, because i am not a musician. :)

Soon i started to build my first Case for my Brother:

Prototype 1

While working on this Case, i figured out many Traps and did some Failures.
But soon, i got my second Prototype finished. Completly wired and ready to go. This Case is build out of 12mm birch multiplex with Tineo veneer and Canadian Maple hardwood boarders. Inside that beauty, is a Doepfer PSU-3, 2x Doepfer Busboards and 2x 3U/84HP black eloxiated Rails integrated.

Prototype 2

To build these Cases are so much fun for me, i decided to build them officially and on request.

Thank you for reading and i hope you like what you see.

You can follow me on Facebook
or just have a look at my website www.rackneck.com

best regards,
Manuel Baade

It looks like Long & Mcquade (Canada) are getting into Euro now. Their website has Intellijel and MI.

Hello world!

A few weeks ago I started with PATCH.AUDIO - small webstore for diy and eurorack fans located in Poznań, Poland. So far, people can buy here Befaco and BASTL diy kits, BARD Synthesizers eurorack, vacuum tube modules and some ICs, tempcos, screws and other diy stuff.

As PATCH.AUDIO, I also organise synths workshops (soldering workshops are on their way) and play lives on synths (without a computer) as Rave Novak.

Cheers,
dn

Kind of surprised there isn’t one in or anywhere around the dc or Baltimore area that at least sells some basic eurorack stuff.

Chuck Levin’s right outside of DC said they are going to start carrying some eurorack stuff starting in the next few months.

Still totally :hyper: about my new PEG, so I reckon now would be a good time to big up everyone at Rubadub. Thanks, guys! I haven't had this much fun making music in ever.
