Somehow the query with a keyword "L-1" has not worked... I'm not sure, but I thought that I got lots of threads with the keyword in 2016 when I firstly came to know their great modules.
Anyway, thank you very much for making the search available again!!

Is search down? No results for any term entered.

Pretty sure it’s been down since the last outage event circa McGrath’s passing.
How to search the forum with google:
1) go to Google
2) type whatever you want to search and append “site:muffwiggler.com”

Is it just me...
Whenever I navigate to a Google search result it opens the MW link in guest mode, whether I'm already logged in or not.
Any ideas?

I’ve had that problem. IIRC, that mainly happens if you’re logged in to MW in http:// and click an https:// search result link, or vice versa. Editing the address bar in your browser to add or remove the “s” should produce the page with your authentication restored.

Thanks for that. What I found is that I'm logged in with https and the search result appears to be the same, but if I C&P the shortcut rather than just clicking the link it works fine. Odd, but it's all good.

Probably something to do with all the redirects Google does. Tedious stuff, all of this. I really wish MW forced everything to https.
I also wish they’d fix YouTube embedding, but I digress.

Hey, we're modular enthusiasts. We're used to finding creative solutions to unnecessary problems.

I think prior to the software update there was a way to search inside a thread by using the magnifying glass button. It seems not to be the case anymore?

Yes I can see that, but it's not limited to the context of a single thread as I think I remember it was.

I looked of the word "context", and it is used twice in this thread. But use the correct search field, as sduck said. Not the one on the top right.

If you type in a phrase and hit the magnifying glass (or just hit enter) it just searches in the current thread. If you hit the star thing it takes you to advanced search. If that's not how it's working for you, it's a different problem (maybe a skin issue?) that's above my pay grade.
