I put together a mini system for the week and decided to go with the LIP as only sound source this time. It's cool as I tend to always use the same chain/sounds with it, so here I get to explore it much more. Nice refreshing course.

Here's a quick video I recorded today, a wild LI appears at 1:33. I got the LI just a few weeks ago and lately I've been using it a lot for percussive bleeps and blops by sending it through an Optomix with a very short envelope. I got some really interesting and surprisingly organic sounds from that

@ SarahB Thank you !

A friend and I just launched our label data roaming record and my track on it is pretty much 100% loquelic iteritas percido, looped and chopped and modulated and filtered inside the ER301.

I’ve really enjoyed the tracks you have posted on Muffwiggler and Instagram Tumulishroomaroom, I’ll definitely be purchasing this - I was hoping you were going to release something! Wish you best of luck, you have some great talent for this. I better ready myself for some frustration of why I can’t make my LIP sound as good!😉

Processing and modulations are your best friends to achieve a better sound imo ;)

That is an amazing track...Are the drums and percussion also from the Percido?

Thank you very much, glad you liked it. I did this track while on holiday with a little palette so I only had the LIP and an ER301, and so the percussions are tanzbar samples. I've just replaced the kick with WMD crater and added a little modulation when I got back. I could have gone all the way and sampled the LIP for percussions but I went the easy route... and I also really like the sound of the tanzbar :)

@tl3ss really rinsing the LIP here !

Ah nice insight Tumulish. I have a LIP on order, can't wait what to get out of it. I find youtube vids sometimes hard to evaluate if it will fit in my style. But it seems it does

This concerns my current signature track, 'Thou art an iris, visionary form'. It's a lamentation dedicated to Florian Schneider.

Loquelic Iteritas is fed into the AM In of CG Products XR22 VCO FT. I switched LI's modes and Master throughout the recording.

The XR22 can output a mix of its own sound and both the unprocessed and processed sound input to its AM In. In this piece, the output goes to A-124 VCF5 Wasp Filter, and on to ERBE-VERB.

Wow. I didn't know that Florian died. Thanks for the tip. Since I don't consume any news media or social networks, often I get such news very late.

I was turned on to "Autobahn" about two years after its release. Kraftwerk was a pivotal influence of mine, and has been one of several musical constants for me since those years. I saw the "Computerworld" tour show in NYC, and met one of Kraftwerk on the street afterwards (not Florian). He was kind and polite in the face of my youthful enthusiasm.

In quick succession now, many pillars of my musical upbringing are dying. It is time to stand on my own legs, I know. But I regret losing those people's ongoing presence and influence. Good luck, Florian. Thank you!

Well I hope you guys are happy, after watching all of the great videos that you guys have posted here recently I broke down and purchased a LIP even though I already own a Loquelic Iteritas...

Thanks everybody!

You'll enjoy them both! I have LI and LIP and I find that LIP is full of happy accidents. I go to the LIP for inspiration. I use LI when I have something particular in mind that I want to try and patch. I use LI mostly in PM mode because I kinda know what I'm doing there. Still learning SS and VO algorithm knob interactions and impact to sound. I know that one can adjust the LIP to act like a straight LI, but where's the fun in that. :hihi:
