Complete modular performance synthesizer. The Lifeforms System 201 builds on the power of the Lifeforms SV-1 synthesizer voice with the addition of the Lifeforms KB-1. This pressure sensitive keyboard controller module brings sequencing, arpeggiation, pressure sensitive triggers, and a preset voltage array to the rich feature set of the modular analog synthesizer engine of the Lifeforms System 101. It is in fact, fully and completely modular.
All sub modules are completely independently patchable.
Hence the term modular, they do share power and normal-ed connections,
(normal-ed connections bypass-able at their jack inputs) but that's it.
Technically, it's 12 sub modules on the SV-1.

Zymos, not certain if you're fucking around,
but no, you cannot physically remove the filter from the "voice"
You can patch out of the mixer into a different filter in your system
and patch back into the VCA. That's what you mean?

No, I mean that it is not made of separate modules, but of one big voice.
Hence, it doesn't fit the definition of "modular" very closely.
Nothing wrong with that, but it IS part of the brand name and logo....
