Updates great for more avant garde but some basics missing. I haven't given up but at the same time I'm beginning to wonder if the Fh-2 wouldn't have been a better choice. Please note I have programmed synths and so on for decades, I get how things work. I'm not giving up on the device because calibration great, plethora of scales etc., great but at the same time I'm beginning to have a love/hate relationship. And that's never good. Anyone want to chime in about supporting the basics (midi cv, arp, and so on). And I'm not against the thought I bought the wrong module.
I think your frustration is shared by many owners. I was reading up a little of the FH-2, and if I understand correctly, it does not map/quantize CV to CV as the uTune can do, only MIDI to CV. For me, the uTune has worked really well at opening up any tuning that can be defined in a scala file and making it easily accessible for CV-CV transform. For a while, I was really planning things around the expanders, but I'm no longer holding me breath on those.

Wasn't Tubbutec at Superbooth 2019??? I was hoping for minor uTune update information regarding the OS and expander. But I guess not :waah: :waah: :waah:

If I update firmware to the Beta 1.11, will I be able to swap the files back and revert to the 1.04 if I find it to be too buggy?

Just got this module and loving it so far. I have one question, is there a way to use different scales/tunings for different channels?

Currently only one global scale/tuning is supported.
Multiple scales are on the TODO list, but may not become a feature due to hardware limitations.
More likely is a 'multiple scale mask feature'
Basically one tuning, but multiple scales.

Allright, sounds good! Thanks for the answer, cheers! Oh and one other question I had, is there an ideal waveform for the autotuning feature, is a sine as good as a square? Without any applied fm/am etc ofcourse

Any waveform with only one zero crossing / period is fine. So square, sinr, saw, tri.. are equally ok.
