Hello Muffwigglers,

After some months of development, we are excited to present the eurorack version of our desktop analogue monophonic synthesizer... Domino

The panel mock-up shows you how the module has been designed, on release the panel will be in black the same as our current line of modules. - Res - filter resonance
- Switch - switches between gate>VCA to envelope>VCA
- Pitch - pitch tuning
- Mix - mix between saw and square waves
- P Mod - pitch modulation attenuator
- Decay - envelope decay
- F Env - modulation amount, pre-patched from envelope to filter
- F Mod - filter cutoff modulation attenuator

In
- CV
- VCA
- PWM (square wave)
- Mix 1 in - input for external oscillator/sound source to replace saw wave
- Gate - gate in
- P Mod - pitch modulation, pre-patched to envelope
- F Mod - frequency modulation for filter cutoff, pre-patched to CV in
- Mix 2 in - input for external oscillator/sound source to replace square wave

This looks pretty cool for a beginner's rack! But that tiny pitch pot seems a bit hard to use, and you can only control the decay of the envelope?

with this much functionality in such a tight space there is of course a few trade-offs. slim pots being one of them, and decay only envelope being another. you can of course patch any other envelope from your system to the VCA

I completely forgot to mention the drive trimmer above - you can drive the filter for a bit of extra bite, which will feature on a proper video coming soon

I like the Domino desktop and this even more. The compact size and big sound is a good combination.

Will likely order in the new year.

How about a separate master module with MIDI in, 4-6 CV outs with octave switch and master tune/finetune - easy modular polyphony!

We did make a couple of protoypes earlier this year of a MIDI module, but when we researched the idea it was hard to justify manufacturing. We just couldn't get any extra functionality into it for the price we wanted to when weighed up against what is already on the market. Maybe something to look at in the future though!

Thanks for the kind words all!

Why is this module unpopular? Not many comments here, only two votes on modulargrid
so strange :despair:

This module is a steal. I could see it in a lot of performance cases. Easy extra voice that sounds killer.

The bass tones at about 30 sec. in on that Perfect Circuit demo sound woody and deep. Really nice.
