It's 100 samples per playlist at the moment. The recently-added multisample playback uses multiple sample folders, and I plan to extend that to the other algorithms soon.

Just thought you might like to know that I have this working - switchable folders of samples for all sample playback algorithms.

the jacks on a friend's of mine are a total mess, unfortunately. it's unusable most of the time. and idea how to fix this (changing isn't that easy is it?) except taping the cables to the module?

Firmware v4.8 beta is available - please test if you use the SD card algorithms:

Also, here's a teaser video:

Wait. No more playlists?!? How does the file structure work?

WAV files in folders. Each algorithm can switch between folders (on a parameter).

That’s awesome!!! Thanks. I always had such a hard time getting the playlists to work properly that i never bothered to use the SD algorithms at all. Now this opens up a whole new world!!

I’ve been following the info with this update but I’m getting a bit confused about not needing playlists anymore. What do I do with my loops that have different clock speeds for my clocked audio playback? Just keep using he same playlist?

Yes. Playlists still work - they're just optional now.

That’s good to know.

But out of interest, if you aren’t using playlists, then how do files work without them in modes like the clocked audio playback which relies on information in the playlist?

The files use default settings (which is 4 clocks per sample IIRC).

Would there be a way to set/change that default?

Hi,

is there a chances for an algorithm that emulate the Buchla 256e control voltage processor ?
The screen would be a bless for the breackpoint part of the operation.
The encoder and knob with pushbutton capability also fitt well with this purpouse.
The crossfader section is not important.

Here a quick explanation of the Buchla 256e.

I'm not an owner of the disting (yet), just checking.

Thanks in advance.

Marco.

Hi,

ops. I saw now the discussion about feature request in the expert sleepers forum section.
Sorry for posting in the wrong place.

I'll post there.

Marco.

It doesn't seem like it... was a bit surprised when I went looking for that functionality and couldn't find it.
Isn't this doable with A4 Min/Max? Min is an AND gate and max is an OR gate.

Edit:
Yeah, works well for gates

Thank you for this latest firmware. I'm testing it now. Samples in a folder without the need for a text file is great.

Hi OS, any chance the Dual Euclidean Patterns mode could have an internal/external clock switch ? plus ideally BPM/clock rate assigned to a pot.
