New Hermod user here. Very frustrated though. I am having Hermod playing a four voice track that is sent to FH-2 via usb, and from there cv and gate to a quad osc. It sort of works, but stuck notes are all over. When I send midi via usb directly from my keyboard to FH-2, there is no problem at all.
Is anybody doing something similar (polyphonic) without stuck notes?

It works without stuck notes, when I use the midi out, into 1010 Synthbox. But usb into FH-2 is aaaaaaaaargh....

I just got a used Hermod and while it’s cosmetically great the encoder requires a very surprising amount of force pressing down before it registers. Is this normal? Is it like this at first and then breaks in?

Hermod peeps!

I PDF’ed the online manual (sans quick start guide) and thought there might be more who might find it useful.
Enjoy your offline RTFM’ing!

It's a little bit of a pressure push, but no different in my case than my plonk or gatestorm encoder, which seem like a similar mechanism. Can be a little frustrating though as I've changed rotate values accidentally during a push on a few occasions.

Hmm, does not sound right to me. Mine presses down effortlessly. I would get in contact with the Hermod guys.

Does the new firmware fix the noise issue? Had to get rid of my hermod because the signal noise it produced was unacceptable - the makers emailed me especially when the latest firmware was released to say that they managed to fix it with the new firmware. Can anyone confirm this?

Oops sorry!
I initially uploaded it together with my post. After noticing some errors I removed it and should have mentioned that.
I should have a corrected version in a couple of days and will upload it then.

the new firmware (in beta, not released yet) does a few power related things. it powers down the sdcard when not used, and also allows the user to control the intensity of the leds and pads.
the idea is, these changes will give the ability to reduce the power fluctuations, and so in turn the noise.

I can't confirm if this 'fixes' the issue -as Ive not noticed any noise issues with my Hermod.

I guess, once the firmware is released we'll see if/how much this resolves the issue for those that had it.

I cannot wait to use this firmware. The noise is really disturbing. It’s kind of ok in sequence mode, louder in track and effects mode and really annoying in step mode.

The amount of LEDs on is directly related to how much noise I typically experience. The option to dim or turn them off completely helped a lot for me, but didn't get rid of it entirely.

Here's the PDF manual I mentioned earlier.
I had to do quite some re-arranging of the layout and corrected some spelling mistakes. Let me know if you find more and I'll adjust the document.
I wrote hermodOS 1.42, but the manual might be from before the most recent firmware. Please let me know if you know.

Did you take it down, or am I just not seeing the link?
