For that price, it should be at least stereo out.
Just sayin' cause I can.

Four hundred dollars does not seem outrageous.

This one seems to be checking all the boxes for me with a few other tricks I can dig. Can't wait to see one in the wild.

Not the euro version but it looks very familiar to this 500 series equivalent. I hope the euro version will have the fine time adjustments like this vid shows.

Nice looking module. I'm sure it sounds great, I'm a fan of Eventide.

I'm left to wonder though......

Eventide has been in the FX business for a loooong time. I didn't expect their first module to be so vanilla. It doesn't seem to offer any major advantages over an Echophone or a Chronoblob.

I'm still pretty psyched to see Eventide in Euro. I'm sure they are just dipping their toes in the water.

Does this seem like a "lazy" module to anyone else?

I think it looks fun. Like things as the Kill feature, trigger to gate-conversion built in, effects loop/send/return, built inn LP filter ... not too shabby! And will probably sound very good.
My latest release, including vinyl!

160 seconds of delay time!

and the built in lowpass is nice. the chronoblob sounds a lot better with a filter in the feedback loop but itd be nice to not hafta patch that up. (((160 seconds of delay time!))) (so long you almost forget about it, huh?)

I like the fact that this module is "vanilla". It seems to do everything I want a delay to do and more. As long as it sounds good and all the features work I am sold. If this was a multi FX unit I would not even be looking at it. If we buy enough of them Eventide will hopefully release a verb module, a harmonizer, and who knows what else.

It's funny that the euro version is $400, and the 500 series version is $900. Not sure what that extra $500 buys you in 500 series.

It is a nice module, but this and the 500 seies version both feel a little half backed. The limitations on the 500 series are understandable due to space, but on this one? At least a simple LFO please, otherwise it is patching in a lfo and attenuator.

maybe it will actually ship after Namm.

given the lack of youtube videos - it really still looks like it hasn't landed.

checked sweetwater again today still "taking a little more time" on the website.
Interested but...

You can set the range of the cv in on the fly very precisely, so it’s only patching an LFO in.

I've received notifications from Sweetwater twice indicating that these were in stock. I just wasn't ready to purchase at the time. So they're definitely out there somewhere. The mystery is why we haven't seen any of these in the wild yet.

Why wouldn't you just get a DLD instead? I don't understand the excitement about this...

Honestly, I'd rather (than buying the eventide) wait a bit longer and save up for a Rainmaker

Yeah, but that's not really a comparable module. I'm talking about 2 things about the same price with the same functions (except Eventide has a filter built in), yet the DLD is like having 2 DDLs.

Did anybody find (or make) a decent demo (pref. video) of the EuroDDL? So far, the vid's I've found are usually 2min and only serve to confirm 'it is a delay'...

Strymon doing a far better job to promote the Magneto imho...

I don't see any attenuator for the CV in?

Most if not all of the buttons on the front panel while held down change the context of the main delay time encoder to options, one of these options is the CV range and with that you can quickly change what the Delay CV is mapped to, so it could be +5v is +100 milliseconds and then long press and tweak and now it’s +10 seconds. I don’t have the exact details memorized but it’s very flexible and more precise than an attenuator.

i love delays, but mono in/out is a dealbreaker.
