Quest for power

Post by nickster » Mon Jan 15, 2018 4:52 am

I'm looking for a power supply that will be housed in a 60hp case. It cannot have a faceplate as there is no room for such luxury. Needs to put out at least 300mA. Any good suggestions anyone?

How about the Frequency central DIY one? Simple, cheap and 500ma

Thanks this might just do. I'll have to check if that 500mA is not too much for my needs first though.

When it comes to amps, there is no such thing as too much, in this situation. The modules will draw what current they need, not more. The point is that you need to get a power supply that puts out more current than you need, not exactly as much as you need, and definitely not less than you need.
