I’m really interested in this module. What’s the HP size of it?
I was planning to get Malekko’s Quad Envelope, but having much bigger sliders is a big win. If it’s the same 12HP size, I’ll be like :nana:

The design that’s been shown is 14hp. Lots of differences between the Malekko and this design—definitely check out the trade show videos. Alas, the release of Klavis Caltrans seems to have slipped into 2019, causing the release of Quadigy to slip by at least as much.

For various reasons unrelated to product design or manufacturing, we lost much time during the second half of 2018 into paper work and related annoyances, compounded with delays and more delays. :hit:
This is finally behind us so that we can return to our duties. 8-)
Sorry for the unexpected break.

On the good news front, the CalTrans was just sent to production. :cflag:
It is better and looks slightly different than the prototype shown in Berlin's videos. We keep the details for when we get the manufactured units in hands.
We can now put our focus on the Quadigy. Good!

Thanks a lot for your understanding.

Hey @Zentek :) Glad to see the hurdles gone. Can you give us any kind of ETA on this beauty ?
An allusion to a place that exists only in our mind, in our senses, that is ever-changing and mutable, but is nonetheless real. It is delimited by the references of the horizon, by the physical limits, defined by light, and it happens in time.

I'm usually wrong on those predictions. :hihi:
All I can say for sure is that it is or sole priority now.
Knowing that there is a typical production time of 8 weeks, 3 months from now is a realistic bet.
Thank you to all for your interest.

Yes, you're right.

It is all of the following, for each of the 4 channels:
* V/Oct calibrator
* Transpose per Octave (dedicated encoder)
* Transpose per semitone (dedicated encoder)
* Semitone quantizer
* Portamento duration (exponential = standard analog curve)
* Glissando duration (linear stepping per semitone)

Besides calibration, settings can be applied on one or more channels at once, by joint selection.
There are also 4 memory slots storing all settings (but calibration, which is kept separate from the 4 presets).[/list]

Question: I see linearity graphics on the faceplate. Will that be per-segment, per-envelope, or global? I tend to favor linear VCAs rather than exponential, so curious.

Man, I was already considering the Intellijel Quadrax in my rack, but now there's doubt.

That module is a strong competitor.

Zentek, you mention the finish line is in sight. Any eta for an in-store date?

I'm having the same dilemma as others with the Quadrax....

Quadigy has 4 ADSR, and Quadrax has 4 AD or ASR envelopes. They are similar but also different. I think I want them both :hihi:

I would like more envelopes for filters and vca, maybe Quadigy suits my needs more. Quadrax looks more intended for drums and drones, am I wrong?

There's also the upcoming Andore Jr which is a dual ADSR but also dual VCA (hence the moniker) but also can be an LPG to boot, so is a different option not giving that delicious x4 ADSR, but does give a lot more options on the two it does have, in a slightly smaller footprint to boot from the look of things.

Frankly I don't know which one to get :deadbanana:

Why did you do that? Why tell me about that module? I'd rather be ignorant than live in doubt.

That's why I kind of feel that Quadigy is cooler for me.

The Bubblesound HEXa(s)r is another choice. It has six basic AD or ASR envelopes in 9 hp.

Hm. Production ongoing since around 10 weeks... just how many did you plan to stock before shipping? 2000? I'd be very happy to get one, for a start. :ripbanana: :hihi:
