Don‘t count on it...
But at least it seems to be close to release once listed in the shops.
I‘ve been waiting for this one since Superbooth 18, but got fed up by the delays.

:yay:

A great deal of interesting thinking in this module, particularly with the global time scaling and the preset morphing. Both suggest unexpected possibilities to me. I’m particularly curious about the overall timbral shifts that morphing might lead to in a patch.

However, my primary interest in Quadigy remains kind of rudimentary: four ADSRs in a small space that I can animate a bit with CV. I’m looking forward to a solid video demo so I can see whether the workflow/gestalt will work for me. (I normally avoid modules with sliders/pots that get overloaded/“disconnected”, so that aspect of this module is the stretch for me.)

Thank you for the kind words.

As soon as a set of faders act on more than one set of data there will be a visual disconnect, for sure. We tried keeping it to the best as follows:
- The data is (newly) edited only once the fader crosses the current value. No risk of sudden jump.
- When touching the fader, an animation in the display tells if you should go up or down to grab the value.
- Once the fader and the value are matching the fader LED goes on.
- A current setting of zero is indicated by double visual blips (either positive or negative, depending on the previous point). This is useful as there are several settings with a zero at mid-path.
- The zero at mid-path is wider so that you can land on easily.

A video is ongoing.

If I warn’t so inept, I’d put this up on Modular Grid.

my only problem is the +5V requirement.
Otherwise its perfect

sir stony i see you have the dreadbox case94.
I have the case168 which is great. The utilities are :goo:

Which +5v adaptor have you got.??

(I had some problems with Logica and had to return it since as soon as I put the 5v adaptor the case would not power.)

You could try a NoDrain 5V adapter. It takes its current from the 12V negative rail!

I made my own and got no problems with it. I plan to make that into a regular product eventually, so far I just made two functional prototypes for myself that work in a different way than any other I could find in the eurorack market.. As my own did the trick I never tried any other adaptors, so I can't tell which ones will or won't work. :despair:

Do you think there’s the possibility of adding a screensaver in a future firmware update. Maybe blank the screen after a specified amount of time?

A way to dim the LEDs would be highly appreciated, same with the Twin Waves... while the brightness is fine in the lights of a stage or a brightly lit room, it is plain too bright in dim light conditions, as are often given at ambient sessions.

On my foto above the Quadigy appears much less bright than the other modules there, but that is due to the fact that the other modules have diffused leds that shine all around, while Klavis uses clear leds with a more focused beam which is much harder on the eye looking straight at them...
