Do the envelope generators in Hemispheres allow you to adjust the curves from logarithmic to linear to exponential?

No, the envelopes are linear only.

Thanks. I think that might be a deal breaker for me with the way i use Piqued. Such a flexible envelope generator.

If you have a VCA with lin/exp control, it doesn't matter that much.

Yea, that's a good thought. I'll give it a try with Piqued in linear mode and see how it goes.

hi chysn!
Is it possible to extend the slow app so that you can choose between linear and exponential for both channels?

I need two equal slew limiters for 2 VCOs and the equal trending app.

what happened with the 1.8 update?
you wrote that you want to remove the 100 scales from the OC 1.3.2 Firmware

I've noticed for my unit that the ADSR EG only outputs up to about 1 Volt, the AD EG outputs to about 5 Volts.

Anyone seen this before?

I get a full 5 volts from the ADSR.

Firmware
Ah, the 1.8 update. It was going to have the Buchla updates. Problem is, without an actual Buchla system to test with, I'm totally at sea with doing Buchla compatibility. So I'll probably review the outstanding issues for things I can do, and tie up some loose ends and release the 1.8 hex file soon.

It's the other way around; I added back scales that had been removed from O_C 1.3.2.

Otherwise, 1.8 is a pretty minor update. It's mostly improvements to Buchla voltage handling (thanks to Mike Thomas), and bug fixes.

The most significant change is that there's now a global clock source, so that you can run sequencers and things without connecting an external clock. Previously, you could do this with Metronome, but the update basically involves replacing Metronome with a standalone clock.

The clock feature replaces the applet category filter, which I bet nobody even knew existed.

Is there anyway to get a morphable LFO like a dual channel version of the of the quad LFO in the original firmware?

@Chysn Please re-open and review issue #44 in-depth. It is not a duplicate. The fix for Tuner in v1.6 was not complete, and the Tuner was not working in 1.7B flip or 1.8RC flip without the changes I noted in the ticket.

I knew it was there! I never used it though, because it was just easier to be lazy and scroll through applets alphabetically... so... good call! :hihi:

Is there a one-page descriptor of all the Hemisphere applets? Kinda annoying clicking through each of them on the wiki just to remember the difference between, say, all the shift registers.

There was a PDF that someone made in multiple formats if you search through this thread.

Also, Thomas Burns said at some point, that it's on the list for inclusion in his awesome Modes iOS app.

Please see my comment in the ticket. It should be corrected in the repo HEAD now. Thanks for the catch.

I'd just like to say I still love Hemisphere O&C so much. Saved me from buying many utility modules. Often I think: I could really need that.. oh, wait - Hemisphere has it! :hail: :hail:

I hope 1.8 will see the light of day soon.

Is there a way to specify the root note in addition to scale for Dual Quantizer, like how you can with Quantermain?

This is available as of Hemisphere Suite 1.4, so upgrade to the latest version for this.

Maybe I'm blind, but is there a manual somewhere with a description of the functions and i/o of each mode?

Has anyone else had issues running hemisphere on 1uO_c4robots by plum audio? I'm getting constant voltage out at every output. I'm wondering if it needs a custom VOR firmware to work.
