would the mSSP be compatible with the upscaled functionality of the USB 24 in/out of it's bigger brother?
-like you can address the other (basic) channels of the SSPs own 16 in 8 out ?

the mssp does not have the USB device port which is on the big SSP. so you cannot stream audio/cv to and from the mssp via USB. other than that, the mssp has half the I/O of the big SSP.

I was a backer of the original attempt.
Count me in if you want to give this another try.
Fingers crossed for the 2nd time around.

i was a backer of the kickstarter for the mSSSP. still interested in it but for me it's entirely dependent on the editor. w/o the editor i wouldn't be excited about it. making patches on the computer and dumping them into the mSSSP is the only way to go for me. the work flow of the SSSP would make me nuts. all that clicking the buttons and diving through the menus. it's not how i want to use my modular.

the power of the mSSSP is really exciting and making FX or a drum synth or whatever is really a powerful possibility. so, if the editor is still part of the plan then i would most likely get behind the kickstarter.

the editor is part of the mssp project.

there is no menu diving on the SSP, I designed the menu system specifically to avoid that.

Have the SSP and backed the mssp last year.
Would gladly back it up again but hope that Bert will run the campain a little longer than last time so that
the campain goal has enough time to get meet.
One month last year was way too short!

the campaign duration was the same as the big ssp campaign duration, and also roughly the same as other kickstarters in eurorack.

i guess i meant lot's of clicking buttons to get around which is something that would be faster, for me, w/a mouse/computer. it's a complex instrument in any form and requires what seems like some intense programming to make things from scratch. that's just my perception from watching videos. seems very rewarding though!

anyway.. good to hear that the editor is still part of the project!

What would the price be? If not toi crazy I‘m in.
Check the Kickstarter. I believe it was $599 for the Kickstarter and $699 retail.
Ok, for 599 I‘m in.

I backed it last time and was very disappointed when it was unsuccessful. If the price is similar, hell yeah! I wanna back it again. Go for it Bert. :yay: :bananaguitar: :bananaguitar:

Let’s do a Kickstarter dance around some elvish runes.
That should help in getting this thing started again!

the campaign duration was the same as the big ssp campaign duration, and also roughly the same as other kickstarters in eurorack.
And yet, it would benefit from being longer, which is the material point blackcelcius was trying to make.

Also just wanted to echo that the editor really would make the mSSP super powerful. So I'm really happy to see it is part of the deal.

I think the mSSP, should it come to fruition, will be the bargain supreme within the Eurorack realm.

If that was true would fall or stand based on some details, at least for me.

seeing the percussa guy, again, defending vs. critics, in this case the too short kickstarter campaign, makes me scratch my head again.
since more time would have given him more time to deliver demos !
What would he lose on a longer campaign versus a shorter one ? Do you pay kickstarter per day ? ( wait: i know the answer)

for me, and i guess for many others, would a new mSSP campaign stand or fall with the availability of good audio Demos.
personally i don´t invest any longer in paper specs or any promises of future features.
( not refering here to percussa ! but the market in the whole !!! )
Whats given is the given
For sale / reduced prices ( swiss (we are NON-EU)/ in case it makes sense_ EU/WW)(CHF +- = $):
WMD Geiger Counter: 180.- / Dotcom Q960: 700.- / Q119: 430 /
ATV A-Frame incl. Accu and Bag: 850.-, like new, quasi unused.

you can find all demos on the original kickstarter page for the mSSP.

With the big SSP, we've done constant updates, introducing new features and new modules, and you can find them all in the kickstarter updates section and in our forum under "software updates". The mSSP would benefit from all the work we've done for the big SSP.

I´m in no doubt of that !
i just did not followed any longer........and will look again when you get a mSSP kickstarter going. Hope you do !
Hope you will give it more time anyway than the last one
