Ok great!

I didn't want to post there, thinking it was solely related to the editor. But I'll go ahead. Thanks!

Great!

Will the new firmware automatically load from SD card (if inserted at power up), or to I have to hold the button down?

if the question is will the new firmware automatically load PATCHES from SD at power up, then yes that's an option that has been added.

You can either keep it as it is now and only check SD with button or the new option will always check SD and load any patches that are found. If there is no SD then you just have to wait a couple of seconds while it checks for SD and then boots as normal.

Also we've removed the naming requirements on SD card patches, so you can call them anything you like unless you want them assigned to a specific slot then you can use the current naming scheme, kick_0.prk etc..

Hello Community!

I've build all 4 modules and everything works perfect except of one X-Knob on one module. Both CV inputs working fine there, only upper Knob doesn't respond.
The problem should be somewhere on the back board: if I switch it to another front board, the X-Knob will not work there. Visually, I dont see anything suspicious. Can someone help to pinpoint the problem?

Thanks a lot!

This is easy to test for, you should see continuity directly from the middle pin of the X pot right through to the 4th pin up on the left at the bottom of the teensy as shown (via that bottom pin on the left of the header that connects the boards). Test it on one of your working modules first.

Right now we're still working on the firmware and the upgrade tool. We'll post updates in all the relevant places when its ready.

If you signed up for the editor beta testing email we'll probably post there first.

That was the problem, connection was damaged there somehow. Now it works!

You should have been sent an email by Thonk for the beta testing.

Will there be a new hardware revision for the new firmware and the features seen on Superbooth19?

Turn off Trigger Button for silent changes of quads?

Post by TLM » Wed May 29, 2019 12:01 pm

Hi there,

is it possible to turn off the trigger button on the module to make changing quads silent? This would be much better for live situation. Than I can move to a new quad patch while the drums are playing and don't have to worry about fire a trigger that is not in time with my rhythms

You are correct, that will be coming in the next update.

Still no ETA on the update though.

But we did just release the first set of custom patches (and they're free)

@Monobass
hi, i have built my first prok BD module so far. everything works great except the SD Card slot. i use a San disc ultra 128Gb at the moment and formatted it ntfs and exfat both. the editor dont see it (no SD). I have copied the Christan Vogel patches as described to the card long press the button during the booting procedure.. nothing happend and the stock patches are still there.

Maybe the SD Card is to big? the Soldering points seems to be fine and i didnt heated it up to much as far i can say.. need help thx
Regards

Aha yes it is, sorry the maximum size is 32gb. We will update the instructions to make this obvious.

It's a shame you can't buy 1mb mini SD cards :)
