Could someone clarify for me how the manual level controls (i.e. L1-4) and CV attenuators interact... maybe it's obvious from the Doepfer website and I'm just being dense:
With an audio signal patched in to channel 1, L1 knob control level from 0 to unity gain - this I get?
With an ADSR envelope in to first CV input the CV1 control determines the gain reached at the end/peak of attack stage? In this situation does the L1 knob position have any effect? Does it act as an offset/bias/minimum gain level?
Cheers!

It is indeed a bias/offset/ I've only used mine with audio signals, but any CV will add to the gain setting on the corresponding channels knob
