Big fan of all the SubCon modules. Glad to see he’ll be releasing more. :guinness:

Would be cool to have another run of M15 :)
For the SY, I already have the 0.5 so not really that interested unless it has all the CV that the 0.5 have.
Good to see modules are still in the works, the subcon modules I have tried all sounded amazing

He was doing pre-orders on a shirt for it, but I haven't seen anything about the SY-1 since that demo unit was shipped out to Pittsburgh.

I've been waiting for his next module since Voicetail was released. I want this SY-1 so bad :(

Ugh. Same. I wish he would spend less time on plastic monsters & more time on making modules. Lol

He’s not the one soldering modules together, or designing them.

I understand that. I just wish it would come out! I have all of the Subcon modules & they're some of my favorite tools. :chug:

I hear ya. I had #1002 of Voicetail, and the Plan B reissues were my entry to Eurorack. I’d definitely prefer a few more modules or unique reissues under the Subcon brand before he just stops making them

Yes. This x1000. I don't want to have to settle for one of the other sy-1 clones. I was pretty bummed when the delay never happened. I REALLY want this one to make it into production.

I've been waiting with bated breath for the Brap SY-1 as well. Perhaps they're gauging interest before committing to production. I keep wondering if the delay was planned as a modular PCM 42, old-school SP style.

Interested as well. Hope to see this one enter the fray with the prior two Subcon I own.

Some clips of the SY-1 from Analogue Haven on IG (viewable in a browser with link). I'm not sure how much involvement Cev has in its production, but with the untimely death of Phil Western, its possible the SY-1 might be delayed a bit. Don't quote me on that, just thinking Cev is probably taking some time to mourn his partner's passing and reflect.

Here's a new song from the upcoming Download album, a tribute to Dwayne who died 23+ years ago. Shared by Cev yesterday. Visuals are of Phil from 1994.

Man that Download track is nice.

RIP, indeed.

That would be bananas. I’d absolutely skip a student loan payment or two to order that delay immediately.

So, is this no longer happening? I've been waiting (rather impatiently) for it to come out, but I really want to add some Syncussion style drum synthesis to my rack. I'm sure as soon as I buy one of the Michigan Synth Works, or other SY clones it will be released.
Anyone have any news?

Funny you ask, a post just came out on Cevin's patreon with an update! Looks like things are still going ahead full steam.

This is like the syncussion from the other side... It looks like it has all the parameters from the original/clones but sounds very different. Wonder if it also can sound normal or if the distortion is built in?
