The most straightforward thing would to be to patch in tap1 or 2 for shorter delay times.
patch tap 3 or mix out via a linear vca, and you have cv-controlled feedback amount.

I send tap 3 to an Instruo tanh and then into the feedback input for coloration and limiting. I also send tap 3 into a bandpass filter and back into the feedback input for a different sound and to clean up the low end.
