That lego idea sounds cool! That might turn into a floating module at some point though :mrgreen:
The new design is a slim plug adapter to take up less space. The video was just the first prototype.

That one was around 50ms, but yes the trimmer will help dial in the timing you need. There will also be other ranges to choose from.

The enclosures shown in the video are the first prototype for function tests. The final product will be slim and smoooth :guinness:

there is a trimmer ? that would be cool
you make differently preconditioned ones ? that would be cool
i´m shure you will be able to make them in a realistic price range. at least i hope so.


maybe offer them also in quad packs to get them down in price.
quad seems a realistic number and here more feasable than 5, imo.


edit: 50ms seconds seems very long !
my personal concerns would be more related to the ms range.
i think i´d want to have mainly (but not only ;) )short ones, just to get rid of the spike !

We're set on the trimmer, and yes the price is looking great already.

50ms is long but was needed for that particular patch. I might have been able to dial back a bit, but that one was fixed. That's where the trimmer will help out. But even with the adjustment you'll probably want multiple ranges for different applications as you mentioned.

Would be nice if you made them in different colors so if you have more than one of them with different trimmer settings you can memorize which one was set to which slew time.

I think if they come for cheap I'll definitely get some just with a module order. Since I always add some new cables to a module order this would be a no brainer for me...

I like that idea, some way indicate which is which.

Yeah throw a couple in there! I do the same when ordering stuff, its like a candy bar at the register :hihi:

Glad you mentioned the 50ms thing. I was thinking the slew sounded a bit severe for just removing clicks.

But adjustable, :party:

...and the Lego idea... :party: :party:

Reckon it'd be a no-brainer having a few of these lying around. I'll keep them with my ninja stars. Then I can get on with using my slew limiters for creative purposes. :tu:

Yeah I think the click softening is the main appeal. They don't replace a full featured slew, but longer times can be a lot of fun to patch with.

Yep, great idea! Do not call it a slew.
"Softener" sounds just a little odd.

Maybe call it "Temper-It" The CV tempering unit"

Need to know price
You keep saying it will be reasonable but what you might think is reasonable may be a deal-breaker for a relevant percentage of potential customers. . .
