Sampled audio can be chopped into tiny grains, scattered, shaped, re-pitched, reversed and layered for an endless range of audio manipulation from seamless frozen tones to mutated acousmatic madness.

Featuring a condenser microphone set into the front panel, built in audio analysis for automatic sampling and internal modulation over various parameters; this is truly a granulator like no other.

arbhar | ˈɑɾˠuːɾˠ | noun (envelope) a containing structure or layer, a curve joining the successive peaks of a modulated wave

Granular processor (Lexer method)
Audio onset analysis for automatic capture control
Sampling wavetable oscillator
6 sample buffers (10 second record time each)
Built in condenser microphone
Dedicated analogue input pre-amplifier
LED display for amplitude, length, scan, spray
Clock in/out
Forward/Reverse grain playback probability control
Internal random/quantised pitch modulation
Dynamic grain windowing
Included 2HP CV expander for additional CV control

Sample buffers aren't exactly huge, but that's O.K.

I'm more interested in how many simultaneous grains this can generate, how dense the clouds are.

Beautiful looking interface, interested for sure.

I can see myself building an entire rack dedicated to Instruo. I've always liked the out of the box creative concepts and absolutely beautiful visual designs of their modules.

It has a .. little microphone built into the front? What. :omg: For live play I assume. So I can effortlessly get lo-fi burp grains into a cloud mix or something? That's almost as strange as the Scion, only here it happens to be stapled to what seems a very compelling (and probably an instant top-10 coolest-looking) processor module. It seems an attempt to scoop the still-nonexistent Clouds II.

So when using that mic does it mix into the input recording too, so you can do whatever ambient sound on top of your euro input combined as one of the six layers?
