This thing is really fun. So much to explore. I find it a nice compliment to the Morphagene.

Letting the granular vibes flow through.
Cs-L on lead melody sequenced by Stillson Hammer mkii.

What would be the best modules to pair up with the Arbhar? I have an Ochd with the 8 LFOs and space for a couple more modules in a standalone skiff.

Any suggestions appreciated.
NLC Sloths is really nice with it particularly if you snag a triple sloths. Very organic glacial movements

How's the availability at the moment?
I have noticed Signal Sounds have it "in stock".
A lot of places seem to say its "in stock" for preorder.

I got the impression a new batch should be heading out to shops soon. Still waiting on my pre-order.

I ordered one from Signal Sounds. Pretty sure its actually in stock with no mention that it is preorder.

I’ve suddenly got interested in Instruo modules after some time exploring other worlds.

Can anyone speak to their general satisfaction with their purchased Instruo modules so far? Build quality? Support? Musicality?

They look top notch, but any input is welcome while I catch up on videos and threads.

Muchos gracias.

I've got a few - Cs-L, Harmonaig and Scion. Scion was my entry into Instruo - tbh I was really just attracted to the design and beautiful colours. His modules are very musical - eg. Scion is a random voltage generator (originally meant to take biometric feedback from plants), but with 4 modes which includes a quantised mode.

love them, I've got a Tš-L, a tòna, an [2]f, a harmonàig, and a I-ō47 is somewhere between Denmark and Amsterdam (Postal services do not always deliver at the right place in the right time)
beautiful modules, very musical as they say, I can only recommend them. the arbhar will be my next purchase

Another example of that onset controlled recording feature of the Arbhar.

I think I'm getting close to make up my mind ...

@ether Got ochd & arbhar - quality is epic, they look really nice. Arbhar sounds superly good, imho best from any granular module currently on the market.

I’m with the people who are saying the note handling on the Arbhar is fantastic. I love how the module manages to be very easy to control, but still surprising.

So my Arbhar arrived today (1 day early) and the fastest delivery I've ever received to Perth, Australia (ordered it on Sunday).

I'm really glad its working well given that Signal Sounds packed it loosely only protected by a couple of thin pieces of wrapping paper. Didnt even write "fragile" on the box.

Received mine yesterday and have to agree with others on the suburb sound quality of this module (and I'm using the reverb setting that lowers the sound quality a bit) Super easy to navigate, the visual cues are fantastic, you always know exactly what is going on. Really, really impressed with this module. Cant wait to get home to experiment more.
Found Maths was a good module to pair with it. I used channel 3 to alter the reverb amount and channel 1 and 4 to modulate length and position. Mainly just recorded random bits of my voice using the on board mic and was in granular bliss.
Switching between the 6 buffers was also a dream.
Anyone on the fence with this one don't hesitate, this is a game changer.
Immediately preordered the Ludbadh after playing with this, could be an interesting module to pair with the Arbhar

Somebody already mentioned it, but modulating the position with an LFO causes a problem when the LFO is disconnected – the adjustment doesn't 're-center', leaving the range of the knob lopsided. Annoying but resetable by sending 0V to the position CV input.

REVERB CONTROL?

Post by closedLoop » Thu Jan 16, 2020 7:30 pm

I'm eagerly waiting for my Arbhar to arrive.

I've read in this thread, and in the Quick Start guide on the Instruo website, references to both a delay and reverb within the module. There aren't a lot of details about how to control it, other than the mention in the Quick Start guide on the CV control of those parameters via the expander. I'm assuming there's more immediate, knob-based control.

Can anyone speak to a more immediate control of these through the general controls? Maybe involving the shift button?

Jason made a long video where he explains the reverb and delay in detail.
