Re: Schlappi 100 grit
I just found a great sound by putting my osc into IN2 but only enough to make sound, not enough to disable the normal. Listening to the distortion output and sweeping the IN2 knob produces a very nice effect.
I tried summing the oscillator with a mult of the distortion output, to reproduce a reliably patched version of the sound, but the timbre is different.
Enjoy!

Just got this in and within the first minute am blown away, this thing melts faces. Such an awesome module
Re: Schlappi 100 grit
Yeah, a couple of month after I got mine I'm still a bit surprised by the range it has; from clean and warm to distorted to snorting and glitchy. All the feedback normalling is really great.
Somewhat unorthodox electro on my old trusty Monomachine.

Oh god I've had this thing for a few days and I love it. Sounds as good as it looks. I know I need more practice and understanding of it, but I wish it had a slightly larger range of umm... "not unhinged" ?

Re: Schlappi 100 grit
yeah i bought it on a whim and at first was a bit put off on the ranges but after i spent some time with it and RTFM im really impressed. once i started to understand how the normaling was set up and the drive circuits and also not to turn everything up to 11 i started to find alot of patches where i got really interesting and also soft results. that said this thing can reallly mash a signal but it really sounds so good all the way up to destroying a signal. i also appreciate the difference ing the filter and the distortion out. Im generally not so inlined to LPFs in my setup but this thing really has grown on me in the last three weeks and its making me look closer at the angle grinder as well. luckily for my konto i have no space left in my main cases

When I got this 6 months ago on a whim I really wasn't expecting I was going to be using it in almost every patch but here I am.

Re: Schlappi 100 grit
fucking love this thing, a lot more depth than there appears to be at times. I just made some of the filthiest kick drums of my life last night making the 100 grit self oscillate and sending pitch envelopes to the FM inputs. And you know I had dat 100x switch on patching out of the distorted out.
