Boyz, I have space only for another big module. Should I go for a Mimeophone or a Qpass + Fx aid xl combo? My only effect module i have is a regular 4hp fx aid (and a clouds clone i will sell as soon as the new clouds will be announced).
Id sell now.

Cool, thanks for the information.
I just happen to have 16hp left open on my case, I hope it isn’t larger than that. :help:

Please please please no Clouds 2 topic takeover in the mighty FX AID thread :hide: :tu:
The (hopefully) upcoming Clouds 2 release is discussed here -> MI Rumors (btw: it seems to be 14 hp)

This has probably already been suggested, but if not, it would be great if the editor would have some way of marking favorite algos. There are so many and it would be great to be able to sort out the ones you already tried and liked etc.

Thanks for a great module, already considering a third :)

I'm struggling with installing the firmware :(

I have the .wav play back running through an attenuator and then into my O'Tool and then on to the FX AID, so I know I've got it in the right -1 to 1 range. As soon as I start playing it into the CV input on FX AID, the two outside LEDs begin blinking. They don't stop until I click one of the buttons and then it's the two inner LEDs blinking again, waiting to receive firmware.

Not really sure what to do... any ideas?

Ok, I was actually able to get it to work by pressing one of the buttons on FX AID at the same time as I start playing back the sound file. Uhh... seems weird, but it worked?

I already own 3 FX Aid modules (2x4hp and 1x6hp) and they’re great 😊
I just didn’t know about the Clouds v2 module that’s all...
Wasn’t trying to imply it was a replacement for any Happy Nerding module.

Sorry if I expressed myself wrong (not a native speaker). That was not directly related to you :chug: I just wanted to redirect the Cloud 2 topic to it’s thread, because the FX AID one is already very crowded.

Is it just me or does anyone else find the tuning noises on the Radio FX too loud?

In order to balance it out I have to have my input signals way hotter than I normally would. It is a great effect, but I would love it if there was a way to control the volume of the tuning noise.

Does the LoFi Junky algo purposefully have a delay? Wanted to use it on some drums and unfortunately there seems to be quite a bit of latency rendering it unusable for that. Sounds so cool too!

That is actually feature of junky , to get some chorus effect when you cross fade from com to lofi
