I will add delay with short max delay time for those Haas cases.
Some filters will be added too.
Different dual mono effects are not practical as there is endless variety of combinations and only one set of controls for both effects.

That line shows negative. And there is reverse power protection anyway.
Got it, thanks!

Thanks for being so responsive with adding effects. When I first heard about this module I thought that 32 effects was absurd and now I think it's not enough!

Would be rad to see an algorithm added that is similar to the Earthquaker Devices "transmisser" pedal. They discontinued it, but would love to have something like it in modular with CV controls and stereo output... pedal was only mono.

alright, i've had my FX Aid for awhile, and it is....AWESOME! There's a lot to love about it, but aside from the great sounding reverbs, my favorite feature is that it is DEAD SILENT, unlike my ZDSP which has such a high noise floor that I've pretty much stopped using it now that I have the fx aid.

The only downside (for me) is that I still prefer the the halls of valhalla room preset to any of the room reverbs on the fx aid. the fx aid reverbs seem to be lacking the high end presence on the valhalla card that is very pleasing to my ears. But, at this point that's a trade-off I'm willing to make most of the time as the ZDSP is so noisy. Great work Igor!

Reading trough this thread on a really outstanding module made me think...
Man, if you are new to euro or if you are even 4-5 years in, this is just bat crazy, I mean such an outstanding module.I remember when I started, oh man, the lack of support, replies, quality issues, people paying in advance and not getting their modules (ever), super expensive.
When I see how hard it is to be a developer and designer of modules today, it would scare me to death.
Some of the comments seems, at least to me a bit rude. I mean it's fine to give inputs to the developer and I appreciate that and I am sure the developer does too. You should have been in this game 10 years ago, you would have had a totally different view on availability and support.

Way to go Igorrr. This module must have taken great effort to produce and code. Keep up the good work.

Ill be snagging one of these in the near future.

“Reverb Saturated” is now uploaded to the editor page.
This reverb never clips, so can be used with loud continuous inputs even at maximum decay.
Just check that your signal is not over -7V…+7 V to avoid FX AID’s input clipping.

Yes, will do my version of reverb with resonating filter inside.

I was not lucky to get all my PCBs shipped before CNY, thus is waiting for the coronavirus defeat. China factories are supposed to open on 10th February, but who knows.

I disconnected the power ribbon cable while rearranging modules and forgot to note the red stripe orientation. Does the red stripe go on the side of the dash ( - ) that is printed on the board?

thanks.

Yes. Just had to confirm that myself. It’s a few posts back if you want to double check.

Sorry, do not understand what may be the restrictions not to use only one out if mono is needed.

This is what I was thinking the other day. If this happened I probably won't be able to resist one of these. Not sure which parts of the transmisser you'd want within module? Can the lpf and lfo be patched in? Thi sdoes leave the question of what exactly the 'warp' and 'darkness' controls do and how they interect. I guess if anyone can work it out it'll be igor

I’m now testing this kind of reverb. It has three controls: Decay, Chorus, Low Pass Frequency.
There is no internal LFO, so the user can patch any desirable LFO to the Frequency destination.
I do not have the Transmisser to check it myself, but from the demos I do not like the high resonance it has. So my version will have less resonance whistle.

I’m sometimes asked regarding FX AIDs noise performance. Its noise floor is pure white noise dictated by the internal DACs, nothing added on top. The level of this noise is so low, so it is not noticeable under ordinary conditions.
Here is the test recording. Sine wave is generated by the FX AID for proper level matching, 100% wet output, then its volume is decreased till silence and program is switched to empty slot, so only the noise floor is present.
