Please be informed that last runs of FX AID use D-shaft knobs for controls 1-3 and T18 shaft for D/W knob. Previously all were T18 shafts.
Fine by me, it let me repurpose some Noise Engineering knobs! Disclaimer: No Noise Engineering modules were harmed in the making of this. Integra Funkitis has plenty of panel space so I put some Davies on it.

edit: the bottom knob, since it's a T18 shaft, is this one. Its a good option if you have the earlier version with all T18 shafts.

I really wish this module had more than one CV input. I could save myself a stack of $$$ on a dedicated delay unit, if only I could modulate feedback AND delay time. Any plans for a breakout expander? Or an FX AID 'Pro'?!

FX AID Pro would be awesome :tu:
...with a little screen that shows what effect you're using and what the knobs do... would be so good!

I would second the request for a Pro version over an expander (not sure if an expander is even feasible with the current hardware).

I would vote for more availability instead of a pro version or expander

You’re right, a screen could be very handy. And maybe instead of just calling it the pro version it could could be named starting with something cool like “tim” and ending with something cool like “ara”! (ducks) :D

Somebody please just ship any one of these products. At this point it honestly doesn’t matter which, we’ll all buy whichever. ;) And do it in decent quantity.

Oh, that might end in a huge chaos.
Love that idea!

I agree. I would rather have had a 2nd CV input than CV control of Wet/Dry. Might be a nice addition to the firmware to have a toggle that lets you choose if the Wet/Dry CV input controls Wet/Dry mix or another parameter. Of course, then you open the UI can of worms of "how do you make assignments to CV2?" Although if it was permanently assigned to the bit crusher I would be pretty happy with that option.

Mmm, my Chainsaw, Chronoblob 2 and ES-9 agree.

As a child I played with a radio noise, so it was my first synthesizer.
"Radio" effect can be found in Shaper category.

Awesome, awesome. And MylarMelodies just came out with a video with the radio trick for hi hats. Coincidence? I think not!

Finally managed to snag an FX AID! All sorts of interesting and cool algos, but damn--those pots are jammed together tightly. My fingers are on the small side, but the module is hardly usable for me if I want to play the parameters in a patch. It would be amazing in an 8hp size with the pots spaced out for human hands. I'm seriously thinking of designing an 8hp panel with the pots spaced out on the right side. You'd desolder the pots and wire them to the pcb--which isn't that difficult.

thinly sliced between pages and pages of "is it in stock yet?" "It's not in stock right now" "when will it be in stock I wonder?!?!?!" are folks who have successfully replaced the stock knob with thinner pots.

I've said this from the beginning. A failure in design / ergonomics imho.
