thinly sliced between pages and pages of "is it in stock yet?" "It's not in stock right now" "when will it be in stock I wonder?!?!?!" are folks who have successfully replaced the stock knob with thinner pots.
Thanks, I tried some of the small no-skirt rogans on the pot shafts, and it’s still uncomfortable to play. After five years of modular, I’ve mostly settled on modules sized to fit a nice interface. I totally get that some people want super small modules, though.

Finally managed to snag an FX AID! All sorts of interesting and cool algos, but damn--those pots are jammed together tightly. My fingers are on the small side, but the module is hardly usable for me if I want to play the parameters in a patch. It would be amazing in an 8hp size with the pots spaced out for human hands. I'm seriously thinking of designing an 8hp panel with the pots spaced out on the right side. You'd desolder the pots and wire them to the pcb--which isn't that difficult.
I've said this from the beginning. A failure in design / ergonomics imho.

It is not a failure. It was design choice that you don’t like. Take it for what it is, buy it or don’t and for love of god, stop exposing the extreme privilege you live under. It does not look good on you.

"Radio" effect can be found in Shaper category.
Where can I find this, please?

Woah!!! :foul: I purchased the module so pipe down chachi. It is an ergonomic design failure, IMHO (in my honest opinion), which I'm entitled to.

You must know me, considering you think I hold extreme privilege...

Such a complete failure that every single one he ships to dealers seems to sell out instantly ;)

Interesting that you seem to focus on the word 'failure'. There was no mention to discredit the sales figures, it was in reference to... once again, an ergonomic design failure.

Thought the bold styling might help you this time.

In the online app it’s in the black SHAPER section in the second row on the left side. If you miss it in the standalone app, you might have to update it somehow?

I thought I'd pipe in to say that, for someone, like myself, who appreciates a compact module design, this is a success.

I "have" replaced the knobs with the sandblasted black aluminum knobs mentioned earlier in the thread and they feel just right for me.

The knob spacing is tight, as you would expect in a small module, but superior to typical 2hp modules or even the spacing of the left hand knobs in a uBurst or the lower row in a Monsoon.

My 2 cents (and my 2 hundred dollars, as I've ordered another). 8-)

I'd characterise the staggering of the knobs in that diagonal pattern to increase usability in a small space as an innovative design success.

:bang: For crying out loud!!!! When will these be in stock??? :bang:

The only dealer I see in the US that lists them is Analog Haven and they've been out of stock.

:waah:

The term innovative refers to something 'new' or 'original' in design. There is nothing 'innovative' about the spacing / placement of those potentiometers.

But each to their own :)

As mentioned previously, a 'pro' or mkII model would be welcomed in my opinion. Adding some extra features and improving the ergonomics. ;)

I have a question for users, if I leave a slot empty it will be skipped when browsing with buttons?

Heheh. To be fair, only one is for me; the other two are for a friend’s rack.

And then we’ll see.

thanks, ordered. signalsounds are great, used them a few times, they're way quicker (1 day if i order early) than the ones i order from in Sweden (1 week).

god damnit.. i was poor as fuck this month and then i sold something, "wohoo! i can buy food and stuff now!"
yeah. that lasted really long....

fasting is extremely underrated though (i'm serious). starving your brain of creativity on the other hand is not healthy. pretty good excuse, no..? :hihi:

Please be informed that last runs of FX AID use D-shaft knobs for controls 1-3 and T18 shaft for D/W knob. Previously all were T18 shafts.
Fine by me, it let me repurpose some Noise Engineering knobs! Disclaimer: No Noise Engineering modules were harmed in the making of this. Integra Funkitis has plenty of panel space so I put some Davies on it.

edit: the bottom knob, since it's a T18 shaft, is this one. Its a good option if you have the earlier version with all T18 shafts.

These knobs are so great, I highly recommend them. Thanks so much for finding these and providing the link.

wow I think I get the last one ! I wanted two items but it was impossible !
but I guess it's an old batch, because Igor told us Signal Sound and Duperthuis will have them soon almost a month ago
so more modules will be available in the coming weeks ... :D

Hey there - this was from the latest batch, they just arrived at Signal Sounds yesterday but we got cleared out in less than 12 hours, crazy!
