Can you post a screenshot of your config?

It would also help to see the ES-9 config, and the Aggregate setup in the Audio MIDI Setup utility.

I have very low but audible high frequencies noise from input 1&2. No pb at all, dead quiet on the others.

I haven't noticed it till recently in studio recording situation.

Will do a screenshot next week.

Meanwhile, can you check if you guys have similar problem?
Every one of my channels hiss. :/
Oof, yeah I have VERY noticeable, high frequency noise from mine. Have tried different power connections, cables. No grounding issues. Really frustrating. Any luck with yours?

I posted months ago (last year?) about Inputs 1 and 2 being noisier than the others and was told this was normal and due to the way it's designed. Who knows.

I have a ES-8 attached to my PC sound card using ADAT - this is how I record my modular. I added an ES-9 to my rack originally thinking I’d use it with my iPad only for all the fun of combining iPad and Eurorack. But on a whim tonight I decided to try also plugging my ES-9 into the PC and using ASIO4ALL to create an aggregate device. Shockingly it all worked fine. Not sure if it will stand up in a long session but was amazed that the basic test worked well. Past experience with ASIO4ALL wasn’t great so my expectations were low.

Anyone else playing with similar setups to record and control lots of Expert Sleepers in/outs to a Windows PC? Hows that working out?

You'll want 'drift correction' enabled for the ES-9, if the UFX is the clock source.

ES-9 inputs 1-14 will be inputs 31-44 in your DAW. I don't see those channels activated in your Live screenshot.

From the manual "Channel numbering
The default channel numbering in your DAW will appear as follows, though this can be
reconfigured as required."

How can this be achieved? And how can I rename the ES-9? It only shows up as "8 - Midi Input" at the moment, somehow it lost its naming.

Use the configuration tool to change which USB channels correspond to which inputs/outputs.

No idea why your ES-9 would be called "8". Is this on mac or pc?

Wait! You mean with a pc?
I’m planning to buy the es-3 and es-6, but I really hope the es-9 can work as an aggregated device with my babyface pro and laptop :hyper:

I have bonkers level aggregation going on my PC and it’s working so far (just started using last week so fingers crossed). ES-9 aggregated with a audio interface that has ADAT that I connect to a ES-8. I’ve not checked to see if there are timing issues on long tracks, but there are ways to solve for that as well I’ve read. I’ll be interested in seeing how it all works for you.

I ordered an ES-9 at the stroke of June, was supposed to be arriving by tomorrow, but gear4music had not charged me, I emailed to ask whats happening. Apparently the supplier has been unable to meet the date and they are now saying November. Bit gutted, might have to get an ES-8 for the meantime.
