Wanted to make something very unintuitive to complement the serge panels I'm building. Still trying to figure out the 1u row. Thinking of putting a monome crow into the 3u to 1u adapter, making a little panel to put in the adapter and drilling some holes for the attenuverter inputs and outputs and cutting the original panel in half, drilling some holes in the side of the pallette and installing the pulp logic foot switches there, then adding a 1u ornament and crime. Also considering ditching the ornament and crime and building some mixers for analog saturation, or reorganizing and adding a monome white whale. I don't know, anyone have any advice?
I had a lot of fun with this setup. Piston Honda mk3 and Streams are a natural combo. Having a rack that could fit on my lap is a nice change of pace from my normal monstrosity
After playing with it by itself and with a friend's ableton (hence the Pexp-1) I wish I would have fit an EG like Pons Asinorum and maybe a 2hp verb. I'll make another version without the DPLR and Pexp-1.
Other than that Steppy is super fun and quite deep for such a little beast. FSR too; so much fun to route the CV to the filter/delay in the SY.05.
And the ER-301 really shines in this context. I don't use it that much within the bigger system, but I love the UI and it's just perfect in a tiny system like that. Perfect sketchbook.
It would be great with a drum machine in a similar form factor too. Mini backpack setup, live ready.
Put this together for the holidays. Will spend first week in january in a small hut on a small island in the Baltik sea with my family. The plan is to spend the evenings with ”teletype studies” & ”Just type studies”.

I want something ultra portable, so taking the voice and modulation section from my rack, and putting it into a palette case looks like it'll work well. Using an SQ-1, or other external sequencer, and a pedal for effects, I can keep everything nice and portable:

This is pretty much a self-contained 1 or 2 voice monosynth I'm rocking for the winter:
The bottom 2 rows are currently my two most-used configurations that I'm toying between. I do quite like the generativeness of Bloom - it lets me be more hands-on with the rest of the VCO2-RM. However, if I trade off that space for Ansible + grid running Kria, I can get a lot more playability, another voice, and weirder tones with the QPAS on the VCO-2RM...
I love that Intellijel came up with this case. It's been the perfect small setup to pair with my Grandmother and 0-Coast. Being able to use the 1U tools allows me to save the 3U for the big boys:

HD3 + ATC + Quadra + Mimeophon
Really like that one !
I made a short video about the case I posted above, I had so much fun with it ! Perfect to lay out the basics of a track :
This is my "leftovers" case right now. Stuff that doesn't fit in my main case. Surprisingly fun.
I tend to build a new leftovers case almost weekly because I use it, remember why I like some modules and exchange them for others.
You can hear & see my modular noodling on YouTube.
You can find my rack at ModularGrid. WTB: Original Mutable Instruments Tides faceplate. Will pay handsomely. Send me a PM!

Some of the modules which I have. Thanks for the concrete idea.
I also notice that a few youtubers show their 4U setups and achieve good results in combination with synth/drum machine.
