Great to hear that your PSU seems ok. I'll try to get a replacement then.

maybe its a module tho? i had noticed as i racked more and more distortion modules, sadly they bring ALOT of noise into any system / case / psu (just like guitar pedals i should have known better :-D )

Got mine today. Really like it. Build quality is good, no loose connections, nothing feels flimsy and the stand provides a nice playing position. Would have liked a bit more of a lip on the built in handle at the back but I don't think I'd be carrying it more than moving around my house.

I don't have the issue with the PSU mentioned earlier in the thread. Forgot how much I hated sliding nuts but for the extra hp and cost vs other cases it's a trade off I'm ok with. With that said I was a bit nervous about plugging a module in that cost 2x what the case does but so far so good.

I received mine last week and did an unboxing and general overview of how it feels when I switched over my modules from a Mantis in case anyone wants to see a hands-on.

Got mine today, holy plastic ! At least the runners are metal!

You get what you pay for. I’m way more excited about the filter bank, it’s a lot of fun, no CV control though.

It has nice chunky feet on the front and the stand is good. If you were to drop it , it feels like it would splinter into a thousand pieces of plastic lol

More like Behringer stay than go, which is fine because it’s staying put!

Oh I forget , the case does whine a bit if you get up close, high pitched, but not too bothersome at the moment. If it gets annoying it’s going back to Germany.

My sanctimonious sense of unique artistry and ultra hip non conformity prevent me from considering the purchase of this case, though I am now troubled as perhaps buying this case could be a powerful demonstration of how unique and non conforming my artistry and hipness actually are! It is so hard being a free thinking individual.

I’m trying not to take this personally, but I seem to have a gift for killing threads. This has to be at least number six. There must be a way to find out.

Well, it's very difficult to respond to your previous message. Was it sarcasm? Was it self-deprecating humor? Remember Poe's law on the internet: we can't hear your intonation.

To keep a thread going you want to phrase your point constructively, and in such a way that it invites response.

Thank you for the videos. Quite informative.
I'm curious if B will actually decide to make stands for this, or if the Mantis ones can be repurposed to that end

Alas my sarcastic approach to humor truly has to be experienced in person! In both posts!

Liking the Go case for HP/$. Replaced the nuts with threaded strips to make them tolerable. Some modules may have clearance issues around the handle inset (center top row).

Two cases and a quick 3d print I modeled up (two, one on each side); It needs to be reprinted a little taller. In an ideal world the angle would be steeper but I wanted to not have to mess with a riser for the kickstand yet.

I could see spending more time on combining these cases into a more permanent installation, potentially three high.

wow looks awesome!

i don't know if i already mentioned, but i inserted threaded strips wich i bought for cheap on eBay and that helped a lot :-D
overall still very satisfied. actually played in a live jam with it and it was smaller than a keyboard synth but bigger than a elektron octatrack. so in that concern it doesn't take away too much space in small locations.

So I got my replacement PSU today. Actually I got the entire case replaced, which I tried to avoid but well... logistics! :goo:
The PSU noise is a bit softer than the previous one but it still creates a high-pitched noise while the case is on, which you can hear when being in play-range of the synth.

Mabye somebody here has an idea where I could find a better quality PSU with 13V/5A?

Yeah that's true, but in my "case" ( ) also happens when I have no modules connected.

Mine does it too , but you have to be in the right place. With more modules in I rarely notice it. I suspect they all do it , but depending on placement , you either notice it or don’t.

I normally identify aberrant sound quickly... so far I've not noticed any noise from the PSUs across three cases. My cases aren't in the quietest of areas at the moment though.

*EDIT*: Yeah, definitely humming from those... now I can’t unhear it. :)

Which ones did you end up purchasing?

Has anybody measured their nuts? As in what kind of extra slider nuts would work with this case? (Frap tools m3 square nuts perhaps?)

Mine is round about half full. I guess, with more modules in, the pitch will rise until its out of the hearing range.
Not sure what placement could have to do with this?

All of your three cases make the coil whine?

I hate sliding nuts with a passion. Other than that, looks good to me. Thinking of trying it

Does any one know of a proper gig bag for this?

Interested in a solution as well. I wouldn't put it in a bag without a cover, though.

Try getting a cheap bag of m3 sliding nuts from Amazon first? Pop a couple out to check the profile if necessary first. Should be a really inexpensive buy.
