man i thought my 134u rails were spacious when i upgraded from 104. good to know this would be a sweet little upgrade skiff-like addition

but cmon guys... you know what behringer is doing. to everyone saying 104 is too big, you know that feeling of having a blank spot in the rack. they're just starting out future addicts with more space to fill

Surely the lunchbox/small case market must be on their horizon now as well?

I’m looking for another case... their timing is fantastic ... I want to see what PS they are using first though. 3amps is impressive, but I want a clean 3 amps!
Gum is fun, but not on a cat.

My minds an art gallery.

Hopefully it has a better +5V supply than the Mantis' pitiful 300mA

Does anybody make a 9u 104hp portable case?
NONO does. Pretty sure there are others, but right now I don't have the laptop I conducted market research on with me.

In the cheaper portable market segment there's also ADDAC'S 12U 85HP case.

Still, if I wanted to make a "junkie case" I'd go for a Doepfer-like design rather than cloning the Mantis.

Somewhere at Moog HQ in Asheville, a marketing rep is saying: "I told you so"

140hp is a good choice !

at 5:26, The Filter is called 904A......which tells us what ?

that one will become a though one for some folks (@Euro Moog cloners)
For sale / reduced prices ( swiss (we are NON-EU)/ in case it makes sense_ EU/WW)(CHF +- = $):
lowered prices: Dotcom Q960: 650.- / Q119: 420 / ( i also have one or much likely two 19" Frames)
ATV A-Frame incl. Accu and Bag: 830.-, like new, quasi unused.

It's a filter (with noise output?), an envelope generator, a mixer(?). I thought they start with their System 100 modules.

Hmm...
That's a 923 Filters and noise source, CP3 mixer, and 911 Envelope Generator cloned into Eurorack from the Moog modular.

It is indeed a bit surprising, or not.

quote of the day. it would be nice to see a certain company produce something with a little more mass appeal, rather than muttering to themselves about the how the industry 'is harshing their mellow' and go back to tinkering on super-synths. that drummer module though, that was a badass invention.

Where can we read about power spec?

But I agree, good power supplies are not cheap.

Do you really believe that Behringer would release a decent power supply at a better price than everyone else? I highly doubt so, and again, you get what you pay for. PSUs are equally as important as the modules they power. Threaded strips or sliding nuts is a comfort thing but PSUs are the heart of a rack. I wouldn't want it to pump junk in my modules, especially bearing in mind the rack is so wide and everyone looks for always smaller modules to cram as many of them together in the same rack. That means more power consumed, and therefore a need for a better-than-average PSU. I stopped hoping for Behringer to make anything better than average a long time ago to be honest.

They can probably afford to take a loss on these so it will be interesting to see if they stuck a good power supply in.

A eurorack module with an s-trig input? Wouldn't they want to convert that to v-trig....

The massive size is interesting, wondering if it's partially to encourage plenty of room for their modules, which seem to be not that space efficient (but affordable).

I think it's cool. For now I'm trying to stay "micro" with my setup, though. Had to kick my Neutron out of my Rackbrute because it was too girthy for what it offered. But someday I could see myself buying all Behringers cheap stuff and sticking it all in one of these, just for an alternate experience!

PSU spec and price depending of course but...

If they come out with a folding version (two of the GO that fold over one another) I think I could rethink my current setup and go for something like this.

Like the stand, like the handle, like the black, like the zones... and yeah I prefer sliding nuts (so here is hoping I can get the sides off to get my nuts in there - oh err!). Just make one that stacks over another for transport and some sort of case/waterproof bag and I'll be a customer.

more evidence that eurorack is getting to be a bigger deal. This will be my overflow case. making it 9u would be pointless because then it couldn't fit 4 wasps, or whatever Uli is copying next. I think it's great for the entire industry. there is soon to be millions more empty hp out there. yearning to be filled with modules. Now would be a good time to come out with a 70hp module full of all the stuff someone with a neutron, model d, and pro one could use
