The NAMM map seems to indicate that 2ms, Qu-BIt, amd Electro-Smith will be there.

Alex4 Distribution claims they are representing "ACL, AJH Synth, Analogue Systems, Animal Factory, Birdkids, Cwejman, Doepfer, E-RM, Endorphin.es, Eowave, Flame, Frap Tools, Meng Qi, TouellSkouarn, UDO Audio, Verbos Electronics and Vermona"

Will see when I get there!

The NE demos are so different but the names are similar. I wonder if it's a small vs big version of a similar circuit that's got range.

I was curious if SSF or IME were going to make an appearance. There's a few things down the pipeline for both of them that have me excited but I imagine they're still working on them.

When it comes to naming conventions "Iter" or "Iteritas" is their standard word for oscillator/voice. I don't think they've used "Inter" before, but it looks like it has a completely different meaning in latin from "Iter" or "Iteritas". I suspect Inter is either something clock/rhythm based or perhaps an FX unit of some kind.

Sinc Iter was discontinued this year. I don’t think I saw “Inter” on NE’s YT vids, only Iter. I do wonder if Iter is short for Iteritas, and if the short name corresponds to a small (4 HP) sized module?

Yup. Iter has been used along with Iteritas for their voice/oscillator stuff in the past. I'm sure this is an oscillator of some kind. My hunch is that Iter is used when a module can double as an LFO in addition to working as a more standard audio rate oscillator, or it could just be used for a smaller oscillator, but my hunch is still that it designates something that can be used as an LFO. From the website they define Iteritas as:

repetitiousness - from Latin itero "repeat" with suffix -tas "state of being"

Iter is defined as:

repeat - from Latin itero "repeat"

I can't seem to find just "virt", but if we look at virtus:

Definitions:
courage/bravery
strength/power
worth/manliness/virtue/character/excellence
army
class of Angels
host
mighty works (pl.)
[Dominus ~ => Lord of hosts]

For Univer Inter, Univer seems to come from Universus:

all
all together
universal
whole, entire
corporate body, community
over-all aspect
universe, sum of all things
whole

And Inter:

between, among
during

I don't think this is a voice, rather something else. I'd guess they are using it to mean something like "Between the Universe". I'm leaning towards some sort of sequencer/clock module just based on the video.

This could be the thing that pushes me over. Maybe with one of those USB-lunchboxes.

Edit: this isn't eurorack. Mods moved it here, don't shoot the messenger

The Noise Engineering stuff is now revealed, check it: https://www.noiseengineering.us/coming-soon

Pretty hyped about Virt Iter. Stephen sure knows his oscillator algorithms, so this could be a real workhorse.

Noise Engineering posted in their email newsletter:

Univer Inter
UI is a MIDI-to-CV interface. It’s fully configurable with our easy-to-use webapp. Choose among our presets or create your own bespoke combination of pitch, gate, trigger, velocity, MIDI CC, MIDI Clock, and MIDI transport for each output. Outputs can be grouped for polyphony, and up to two UIs can be chained for even more polyphony. All in just 6hp.

Virt Iter
If you’ve followed along with our names at all, you probably know that Iter or Iteritas is our word for oscillator.

Virt Iter is our new oscillator with a twist. It’s based on our new stereo oscillator platform: with a simple USB connection, update to the different firmwares we’ll release. VI has three modes for cool sound options and audio-rate phase modulation per channel. So. many. possibilities in just 6hp.

Desmodus Versio
tl:dr: we made a reverb. It’s awesome.
So many of you have been asking us for effects. But we got so many requests for so many different effects that we just couldn’t decide what to do. So we present Desmodus Versio, NE’s take on reverb, on our new stereo DSP platform!
An abundance of controls and modes means this is a BEAST of a reverb that has a lot of tricks up its sleeve. Shimmer, echo, delay, distort, or do whatever you like with Desmodus Versio.
And YES! We said platform. As with VI, more effects options are coming soon.
