Good thing I didn’t dive too hard into Eurorack. Now I can just get a Behringer only setup.

Wow Boog is just killing it with all this necromancy! They are resurrecting literally everything from the synth graveyard. At this point I’m not even mad anymore, I’m impressed

I'm pretty sure Behringer can afford to create actual panels for teaser video purposes.

Holy hell. They got it all wrong in Demolition Man. It's not Taco Bell that wins the corporate wars, its Behringer. I'm going to have to go back to school and get some student loans for all of this GAS.

Re: Behringer System 55
I'm 99% Doepfer (bar some DIY and an English Tear) but this is intriguing - I'm keen to see the cost of reproducing the System 55 typical configurations (and the 100M for that matter) as originals of both are just too much (and too big!).

Re: Behringer System 55
Ouch, this is pretty novel looking. People have been begging moog to do this for years, too. Maybe they sensed Behringer might go ahead on their own. They should make a small tolex case and sell System 10s and 12s and it'd be cool. I'll be avoiding them but who can even fight it now.
I'd be interested in the power supply module, as it's within my comfort level on behringer things I buy (utilities)
If this closes the eurorack corner for Moog, I hope they'll still make separately available 5U sized modules of their circuits. I have a few of these original modules and seeing them in eurorack size does feel aesthetically like I'm looking at small toy versions. I know it's all about the sound, etc, but 5U modules really don't shrink well. I like how EMW and AJH have adapted a lot of moog concepts into eurorack aesthetic without going full-on miniature in style.
An after-market that converts these to 5U panel size might be awesome, however. I'd enjoy unbranded Behringer clones made into 5U by FSFX or another similar company, definitely.
One obvious thought: FFB definitely lacks inductors. That's a big misrepresentation on their part to people unfamiliar with it.
(And the filter sweep sounds pretty thin, though it's an unfinished demo I know.)

I am not interested in their system 100, but this I will buy for sure. If quality is on par with model D it is going to be awesome. I wish I could afford originals but I can not, so this is very good news for people like me, most of us I guess.
Re: Behringer System 55
What’s with the s-trig interface on the 961? I mean, seriously, please tell me the EG’s are v-trig.
Re: Behringer System 55
What's going on here - why announce so many products at once? Even their most devoted fans (a lot of them around) can't keep up with this shitstorm surely?

Re: Behringer System 55
Easy, tiger. You're right that I misused novel. I didn't mean original. I suppose I meant quirky or cute.
To expand on my initial sentence: I'm personally offended at the enterprise but if I didn't know it was Behringer I'd probably enjoy looking at these, just like those magnets of synths you can get on Ebay. "Oh, how novel! They shrunk it!"

Neither the most devoted haters can..

Re: Behringer System 55
I've been just fine without a system 55, I think I will be okay with out a generic one.

Re: Behringer System 55
Totally agree. There is nothing there that interest me as far as I can tell. I have plenty of VCFs and VCAs and dumped all but two VCOs for Waveplayers and Granular.
If I was into do Tangerine Dream or Kraftwerk stuff, these would be golden though.

Re: Behringer System 55
Speaking as someone who has a TD-3 on back order and waiting for it to arrive stateside, how soon will the modules be available.
Can I also say that I like the branding on these and the 100m modules w/o the triangular behringer logo - just the behringer name.

Re: Behringer System 55
I'd hate to put these in my normal G6 racks - why do I hope for mini racks that mimic the 55???

I'll defiantly buy 2 of the sequencers, and maybe the gate delay, cause I don't have one in my rig. The filters are a must, but I won't buy it without the Filter Coupler. How else are you going to get bandpass? An old style VCO controller with a bank of 3 slave VCO's is on my list.

Re: Behringer System 55
Yes!!!! These will be back ordered forever I bet. But I’m in!
Re: Behringer System 55
The modules are cheap and sound great, but the catch is you need to spend $500 to get the converter from Behringer's revolutionary and proprietary new form of S-trig to CV/Gate.
