Ninja Stars V2

Post by plankton » Wed Mar 25, 2020 5:53 am

Hi there! :)

We got the new Ninja Stars at the workshop today. :cloud: They are audio multiples for eurorack. There are 4 types: 3, 4, 5 and 6 pins. All with a center hole for the cable to pass through if needed.

Check the link at: https://www.planktonelectronics.com/store/ninja-stars/

Cheers!

Nice design - I've never been keen on these kind of splitters because they seem to just hang there (my rack is fairly vertical) but being able to loop the cable through the the middle seems like a sensible way to solve that.

Made from stacked pcb material? What does the back side look like? Any exposed solder points?

they look to be the same as v1 in that respect - the same both sides - no exposed solder

They are made of FR4. Black matt with gold immersion. All the solder points are in the interior side of the PCBs.

The difference with the V1, apart from the new designs, is that both sides are soldered resulting in a much more stronger mult.

Hello,

Has The Jellyfish been discontinued? I just saw that it was on sale at a low price on your shop and is now sold out. Wish I hadn't missed the sale. :waah:

Ninja Stars V2 look very nice. :)

We're waiting for the panels to arrive. We don't know when yet, but it will be soon. :)

These look great. Have you considered making some other basic things like switches and attenuators?
