When I try to use two wav playback in dual mode, one of the two bugs out and the second plays back the sample of the first

Also, just had an issue in dual mode where the left algorithm bugged out and outputs digital noise regardless of input

Anyone else experience this issue?

which firmware are you on? 1.3 was released yesterday, perhaps that will fix the issue.

@Peng33 Right now that algorithm is fixed to send CC #1, but it would be trivial to expand that to make it settable.

You can set a different MIDI channel for the two 'sides'.

I've long meant to make an option to send CC from X & Y as well as Z, which would give you 6 CCs.
Thank you for including the selectable CCs. That will be helpful.

Watched a few of your YouTube videos, and it just boggled my mind how many functions/features/parameters were able to be changed on a single algorithm, let alone all of them. As I am still learning some modular basics and route effectively, my Disting EX is going to get a lot of use, but as intuitive as it is, it'll take me a bit to wrap my head around.

is there a place where you can get more multi sample libs like the ones that are already in?

Unless I'm missing something, it does not seem possible to trigger the `SD 6 Triggers` algorithm with incoming MIDI notes? I would love this as a feature request!

For context: The 8x trigger outputs from my Beat Step Pro are unfortunately too hot to trigger Disting EX directly, and it causes the Disting inputs to glitch out. Instead of using 8x attenuators on my triggers, my workaround was to try triggering this algo with MIDI instead but this does not seem to work. I end up using the `SD Multisample` algo, which does respond to MIDI note input.

Aha! It seems the SD 6 Trigger algo was just updated in new firmware 1.3
From the change log: "The SD 6 Triggers algorithm can now be triggered by MIDI notes."
This is great!

Get that 1.3! Multi-Sample SD algorithm works great now with this update.

The trigger inputs all have attenuverter parameters. Have you tried that yet?

I just got my disting ex, was curious if the output volume was really low for you guys?

Using single mode, SD/multisample, going straight into my mixer, the output is at least 50% lower than my other sound producing modules, and that's with the disting's gain set at max, +6db.

Everything else seems fine with it outside of this volume issue.

Is this normal behaviour or is something wrong with mine?

Really enjoying the new Looper algorithm. 8 bit mode provides some nice grittiness and is satisfying my urge to buy a Cocoquantus.

How's the volume with, say, six notes sounding?

Brilliant new update. Love the Looper, few qs:

Can you pitch the loops (up/down octave, semitones)?
Can the loops all run at different lengths and unsynced to each other?
Do reverse and other modifiers (envs etc) act per loop rather than globally?
Any chance of a basic HPF? Would be really useful to clean loops up.
Can you edit loop start/end points?

Cheers

I don't own the midi expander, so I'm limited to 3 with cv/gate right?

3 gates in with chords on is a little louder I guess, but every sample is low volume in this algorithm, drum samples, piano, etc..

Playing the samples directly off the SD card on my pc they are all at good levels, but off the disting they are very quiet. Almost as if they aren't being brought up fully to modular levels.

I've been using the boost switch on my intellijel quad vca and the 6db gain just to get it at decent volume for example.

The other algorithms aren't as quiet, so maybe it's a velocity issue and I need that midi expander. *shrugs
