Beginner rack

Post by osten » Tue Jun 30, 2020 4:07 am

Hey all,

Modulargrid link: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1170197

This is my current setup, and I'm wondering if there is something I can improve?

Mainly, I feel that MI Stages + 2HP ADSR may not be powerful enough. I seem to be lacking in bipolar modulation sources.

I have 50HP free, and was also considering adding a BIA and maybe also an Instrou Arbhar. But yeah I need suggestions in adding more modulation sources.

The rack is sequenced with a Digitakt.

Any suggstions are welcome!

Thanks :sb:

maybe a link to the actual modulargrid rack instead of a jog would be useful - there are over 7k modules - mouse over infomatics and click throughs are really helpful for those trying to help you

instead of buying another modulation source - another approach may be to use utility modules to convert the unipolar output of Stages to bipolar - negative offset and amplification will do the trick

Utility modules are the inexpensive, dull polish that makes the expensive, shiny modules actually shine - and stops them tarnishing too!!!
