Scale quantized delay speed

Post by Wuff Moogler » Tue Jul 28, 2020 6:32 pm

Looking at the Strymon Magneto I see they have a limited selection of scales to quantize delay speed to. I want to be able to use any scale so I asked them if I could patch the speed/pitch out to my Intellijel Scales quantizer and they said they're not sure how that would work but I can try and I should keep in mind the speed cv jack range is -3V to +3V, calibrated to be one octave per volt. With the high price point Id like to know if others think this should work or if any other eurorack delay might work too.

That should give you 3 octaves as I think the Scales is only unipolar? If so you may need an offset. Either way, yes, the Scales will quantizer the voltage to what you want.
