triggering the Morphagene polyphonically

Post by ThriceGood » Sat Oct 17, 2020 12:49 am

I don't own a Morphagene and have a question for Morphagene owners. I know that the morph function allows for the overlapping of up to 4 genes. How does this overlapping work when you are manually triggering it with triggers into the play input? I would expect that, with the morph knob turned up, the genes would overlap based on the timing of the trigger input. As in, 4 triggers in close succession would get 4 overlapping genes starting at each trigger. Is this correct?

The gene overlap is controlled by morph. Triggers into play have no effect on gene overlap, it causes the currently selected slice to play from the beginning when it goes high.
