everyone wants it in eurorack format anyway so why not just sell the module?
Are you sure about that? 4U guys would snap it up. I was hoping to myself. There are also official Serge modules in 5U, so I expect there'd also be a market there. Oh well...
ok, well 99.9% of everyone.. if you wanted a module that doesn't have pots and jacks soldered on so you could dangle it behind a 4U panel, that could be arranged, I just can;t justify designing the board for several formats atm is all.

God no! I was only suggesting Euro PCBs that peeps could adapt at will. I think larger format DIYers are more-or-less resigned/accustomed to doing this.
If at first you don't succeed read the instruction manual.

Apologies if this was mentioned previously but LED colors can be a REAL pain if you happen to be colorblind. I get by with some of my modules that use red and green as mode indicators, but make no mistake, it's a pain.

Please take this into consideration, thanks!

Yeeaaahhhh! Toppo's back! All we need now is a resurgence of interest in Anti-Oscillators and Plague Bearers, and an unexpected flood of QMMGs.

yeah me too kinda! I've been testing some stuff, more on that later but here is a new layout, one that * ithink* will make everyone more or less happy. it's grown on me.. once again ignore text linestyles etc its just a rough draft, and I'll dial it in better as I get throug the redesign, but yah, feels pretty decent to me (havent mocked it up physically yet) 12HP/

Is that a button above the comparator output?

this is the new and close to final layout. I played with this physically and the jacks are better served grouped together more.. I can't take all jacks at the bottom or whatever so I think this is the best compromise.. yeah it could be squished down to 10HP but it's just way too tight to interpatch. the switch above the comparator output was reserved for one of 2 things.. but i think it ought to be the 'random source' patch on a switch because patching that in this jack config is kinda crazy :0 anyway= i been raring to go on the layout so now I can get started. :foul: this has been a good excercise in reacquainting my hands with eurorack.

Yeah, that looks great! Makes me want to start patching immediately. The one before felt a bit convoluted. So will 12 HP remain to be your template now including the new Multifilter? :)

I see V/Oct is now renamed CV2. Is that a sign that tracking was not as good as you’d hoped, or am I reading too much into it?

:) yeah, this project has been helpful in that regard, *one* of my main gripes about euro as a format format has always been the size- even before we all started using SMD and squishing things down into tweezer territory (the other gripe is the wack standards) I made a 10HP multifilter 2 prototype last year.. too cramped. 12HP it tis. That PCB is nearly done already.
