I am late to the party but really excited about new Toppobrillo modules !
The Multifilter is and stays awesome. Used in every patch. Thinking of getting a third one.

Have wanted a Sport Modulator for years. Please, no minipots, stay big :-) And the latching switches are great. Hope to see it at retailers later this year.
yay! yeah I'll be using toggle switches in this iteration. layout is coming along. I've improved the droop rate considerably, not that it was bad before, but this allows me to squeeze more top-end out of it. Haven;t started sourcing parts yet- hope this Suez canal fiasco doesn't impede production, anything is possible at this point tho!
That’s true but the problem in Suez seems to be resolved now so things should get back to « normal » quickly.

Now that I have signed up and signed on (Team BLACK PANEL) without ever having enjoyed the originial SportMod I would love to hear more from Wigglers about how they love(d) to use SPORT MODULATOR best and how it differs and/or compares to other existing modules — for example, what I assume are the closest modules to it that I currently have in my cases …a couple of PEGs, a SISM and a MATHs?

Personally, I’d love to see this thread focus on the return of the Sport Modulator. There are plenty of places to go, some of which I digged up for you:

If this is the official sign-up list, I'd like to sign up.

I have never used the original, but I would love to have one.

I hope there will be enough for everyone in the first batch !
Curious also to know what could be the other module which is in preparation beside the sports and the filter. I am this close to buy a tinrs wobbler but I would like to know what is there over here cause I can’t buy everything :hihi:

if you end up looking into the ssg, search for the tons of serge creature patches shared here over the years, where the ssg plays a center role.

Am I the only one who would miss the attenuverters on the CV inputs? Both the Serge and the original Sport Modulator have attenuverters. But the recent mock-up here has replaced them with skew controls.

It looks like there could be room for both on the front panel. And given the choice, I would probably prefer attenuverters (unless you convince me otherwise).

The original Sport Mod, or at least the three I have, don't have attenuverters, and this was specifically mentioned as a feature included on this v2. Definitely a major element of what I'm looking forward to unless something has changed without being communicated in this thread.

attenuverters are very important here, and i believe @toppobrillo listened to the request of normal size knobs for the two attenuverters,
so i think skew here means offset, no?

It says Skew because it will have an internal normalization to the End output. This would allow for 'skewing' of the waveform, producing a saw shape. Just saves a patch cable, but I think it's cool.

I get it now. Thanks for clarifying. It was the "skew" label than confused me.

here is the signup sheet! this was the easiest way for me to do this.

https://toppobrillo.com/products/sport- ... -pre-order

add to cart and 'check out' with your panel color and qty. you will receive a confirmation email.

again, won't take pre orders officially($) until production is imminent, thanks ! :sb:
