Currently using the Empress Reverb and loving it! :zen:

Edit: to make this Eurorack relevant, it does have a control input that you can configure to use with CV.

Yeah, they rock reverbs any time. Maybe one day I'll get an AMS RMX16.

Let's see...

Rack
Alesis Microverb 3 (I use that one mostly with a microphone for vocals, acoustic guitar and such)
Yamaha REV 100 (not mounted in a rack however, so it's easily useable wherever needed - I love it with my Streichfett)
Lexicon MX200 (in my main synth FX rack and connected to the mixer stereo aux path)
Furman RV-1 (that one is in my guitar rig)

Standalone, Stompbox
Alesis Nanoverb
PedalPCB The Spatialist

Other
Spring reverb in my TTSH
... why buy it for $100 when you can build it yourself for $150?

Did you like it when you had it? Much better than an MPX 100?

How does the MX200 compare to the Yamaha?

* Intellijel - Rainmaker
* Orthogonal Devices - ER-301
* Strymon - Magneto
* Tiptop - Z-DSP (NS)
* Expert Sleepers - disting EX (x2)
* Synthesis Technology - E520 Hyperion Processor

Pedal:
* Zoom - MS-70CDR

19”:

I use them in different setups. The Lexicon for "unobtrusive pleasant ambience" - which it does quite well, imho -, and the Yamaha for distinct FX sounds (looooooong, spaaaaaaaacey).

I didn't do an A vs. B comparison test or similar.

Perhaps this thread is relevant because it shows how Eurorack users choose to complement and supplement their Eurorack modules.

Eurorack modules:

2hp Verb
Clouds
uBurst
Pico DSP
FX AID XL
Disting MK3 V3.10

Before I had any Eurorack I used a Lexicon MPX-1 rack mount. I gave it to a friend.

This has been a long time ago, but iirc, it was inconspicous and effective in light dosage, but uninspiring for large spacey verbs, which I was more interested in at the time. I never had a chance to compare to a 100, and didn't keep the 200 for long, either. The Sony 55 was much more my flavour, despite slightly noisy converters.

Historically:
Lexicon LXP-1
Lexicon MPX-1
Ensoniq DP/4
Eventide DSP4000
Eventide Eclipse
Eventide H8000FW (sold it to fund my first 200HP+ of eurorack modules.. no regrets)

Now:
Lexicon MPX-550... about to be put up on Reverb.
Eventide TimeFactor
Eventide H9 Max

And... sorry to dissapoint - I've gone full bore into plugins with Eventide, Plugin Alliance, UAD, Valhalla, and Softube.
As an example of my justification - my MPX-550 is a basic Lexicon. By no means as good as an old 480L. But with UAD, I have an actual 480L on tap.. and I have enough processing power to have multiple 480Ls. I've also created ways to integrate virtual FX into my modular by having specific FX sends in my Frap CGM mixer go directly to VST effects in Ableton.

The main reason I like the two Eventide pedals with my modular is the expression pedal inputs accept CV - so I can send modulation to them... they have become performance tools.

Euro:
Disting EX *2
FX-Aid XL
Disting Mk4

Rack:
Sony V77
TC Electronic thingy

Pedal:
Strymon Blue Sky

On a separate note.... I'm really hacked that you can't get 19" rack mount effects anymore without going super-pro-plus on the $$$$$'s

One of my reasonably cheap TC Electronics died, and I thought... oh, I'll buy another.... think again! Bummer.

Roland RE-501 (2)

One of these days I'll have the right cash-flow from work and my alerts for a EMT-240 will align and I can die happy!

I prefer outboard gear for effects - so...

Eurorack:
Monsoon

Pedals:
Strymon Night Sky
Caroline Meteore
Hungry Robot El Castillo
EHX Cathedral
EHX Superego+

If I had to pick 2 it would be Night Sky and Meteore.
